Remon sends Sarri £86 million Bale message ahead of possible summer Chelsea move!

Chelsea transfer target Gareth Bale has ‘shown he can’t play at Real Madrid,’ according to former Real player and manager, Mariano Garcia Remon.

With the news that Eden Hazard could be all set to leave the club in the next few weeks, there has been a lot of transfer speculation in the media over the past few months which have suggested that Chelsea will be looking to try and sign the unhappy Bale.

Zidane and Bale had a fractured relationship during the Frenchman’s first spell at the club, and his return looked likely to signal the end of the Welshman’s stay in Madrid after being dropped by the Frenchman over the past few weeks.

And Remon has now told Chelsea that Bale has not lived upto expectations since his big money move to Madrid, despite the fact he has scored 102 goals in 231 appearances across all competitions and has won one La Liga title, a Copa del Rey and four Champions Leagues titles.

‘Real Madrid’s major problem is that they have to assemble an almost entirely new squad,’ Garcia Remon told Radio MARCA.

‘Some of the players have had a very bad season and it’s shown that they can’t play here.

‘Bale is one of them as this year he was given the chance to succeed and become the main man, but he couldn’t take it.’

Despite Bales poor season at the Bernabeu, there is no doubt that he is still one of the best players in world football and he would be the idea replacement for the departing Hazard, especially as he not only creates goals, but scores them.

He may not have filled the boots of Cristiano Ronaldo, but a move back to the Premier League for the right price would mean one of the best players coming back to the English game.

If Chelsea can get this transfer ban overturned, then Bale could be the ideal replacement for Hazard, his record speaks for itself at the Bernabeu. So it will be very interesting to see what happens with Bale, as he looks all set to depart the club.
