It has been claimed that new Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has told the club that he would like Raphinha signed from Barcelona

During his time with Barcelona – Raphinha established himself as one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League and a man that was destined to play at the very highest level of the game.

The Brazil international bid farewell to the Premier League when completing a big-money transfer from Leeds to Camp Nou in the summer of 2022, and had hoped to take that next step in his development.

He has shown glimpses of what he is capable of while in Catalunya, with 18 goals recorded through 80 appearances, but has not been the hit that many would have hoped, which has led to alot of speculation in the media.

Several European clubs have been closely monitoring the 27-year-old’s performances and after his recent success, a Premier League club submitted a €60 million bid for the player, according to recent reports from Diario Sport. 

However, Barcelona have made it clear that they will not entertain offers below €80 million for one of their prized assets

But now reports in Spain have claimed that Enzo Maresca has personally asked the board to sign Raphinha from Barcelona as the Brazilian star fits the style of play that he would like to employ at Stamford Bridge.

Look, there will be alot of rumours over the next few months about the future of Raphinha and to be honest – he probably will leave Barcelona. But CHELSEA FC do not need to sign a player that does not want to move.

If he is forced to move on – his heart wont be in it anymore, the desire wont be there, it would end up being a pointless transfer.

MARESCA WANTS MARTINEZ – 

Enzo Maresca has reportedly personally asked the board to sign Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez this transfer window.

Right now man Chelsea fans are wondering what Enzo Maresca will bring to the club as he is the man that is taking over from Mauricio Pochettino from next seasom after a fine campaign with Leicester City this year.

Lautaro Martinez is a player that CHELSEA have been linked with for many transfer windows and it is widely expected that the Blues will go back in to try and sign the world cup winner at some point.

As per reports in Spain, Maresca has personally asked Chelsea to sign Martinez from Inter this summer – a forward he views as “ideal” for the team.

Martinez believes he’s one of the best strikers in the world alongside Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland, Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski.

In an interview with Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport, Martinez said: “I have nothing to be jealous of them, the numbers and the trophies say so.

‘Some of them have won less than me. I have to keep working responsibly as my father taught me, but I can be at the same level as all these great players.”

Martinez is one of the best strikers in the game – and the confidence that he shows would be a great asset to that CHELSEA side as they are lacking a quality striker like the Argentine star.

We do not know if Chelsea will make a move for the striker this summer – but he is certainly someone that could make a massive impact at Stamford Bridge if he does get signed.

Chelsea knows what they needs to improve the side enough to finally get back into the chase for Champions League football and trophies – but signing someone like Martinez would be a massive statement signing.

But we feel that he will probably stay at Inter-  he seems happy enough

CHELSEA SET TO ANNOUNCE ADARABIOYO DEAL – 

Chelsea have hijacked Newcastle United’s move for Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo and are set to complete the first signing of Enzo Maresca’s reign

Chelsea are once again expected to delve into that transfer kitty over the next few months as the club knows that he needs to improve certain areas of the squad.

Tosin is a player tat has been attracting all sorts of impact from from some big Premier League clubs in recent weeks and CHELSEA are reportedly interested in getting a transfer deal done

Tosin has also been targeted by Newcastle and Manchester United, who want to land him on a free transfer. With Raphael Varane leaving United, they are in need of central defenders.

But according to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have already lined up a move for Adarabioyo, who is available on a free transfer, as Trevoh Chalobah’s replacement and are confident of winning the race to sign a player that is very highly rated.

Adarabioyo has certainly impressed this season for Fulham and it is easy to see why some big clubs are keen on a transfer deal.

But he needs to make the right move or he could ruin all that good development he has been achieving – and CHELSEA would be a massive move to make and one that he could thrive in.

If the reports are true and CHELSEA have submitted a contract offer to the powerhouse defender – then he would be joining one of the biggest sides in the Premier League and a club that could make a big impact next season – if they hire the right manager.

So it will be interesting to see where the powerhouse ends up as there has been alot of speculation about the defender.
