Chelsea star tells striker to join Chelsea – Poch wants Argentine star – Chelsea told target is favulous player
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed today –
Owen Hargreaves has told the likes of CHELSEA that Inter Milan star Lautaro Martinez is a fabulous player.
It is believed that incoming boss Mauricio Pochettino will look to add another striker to the attack at the end of the season – as he has been promised by Ted Boehly that there will be funds available to sign the players he wants
And that has led to suggestions that Lautaro Martinez is a man that the club are very interested in signing at the end of the season.
The Argentine is now in the Champions League final and has been compared to Carlos Tevez, by former Bayern Munich star and now pundit Owen Hargreaves.
Owen Hargreaves said: “He’s (Martinez) a fabulous player. The way he leads the line reminds me a bit of Carlos Tevez. How aggressive he is, but he’s got a great touch, always running forward.
“Martinez has been fantastic. What a fabulous player! He can press, is a good finisher, and has good link-up play.
‘He literally gives you everything you need from a centre-forward.”
However – Inter vice-president Javier Zanetti insists the club has no plans to sell the striker in the coming windows,
The Inter forward is just three goals behind Osimhen in the scoring charts, with his latest strike against Sassuolo taking him to 20 goals for the season.

If CHELSEA dont sign Martinez in the summer – some fans will be disappointed – but the club need to make sure that they sign a forward as what they currently have is simply noy good enough to compete.
POCHETTINO WANTS DYBALA –
Mauricio Pochettino wants to bring Argentine international Paulo Dybala to CHELSEA next season.
Chelsea are right at the end of having one of their worst seasons in recent history – and may not even make it inside the top ten by the end of the season because of their poor form.
They are without a permanent manager – although Mauricio Pochettino is on his way to the club at the end of the season, and there is a feeling that the club will need to add some top-level players to the side in order to even get Champions League football next season.
And that has led to constant speculation in the media that Dybala is a player that the club are seriously interested in.
When the attacker signed for Jose Mourinho’s side for free,, a number of releases clauses were reportedly agreed to become active after one year.
Now a report from Fichajes, claims that Dybala’s termination clause of just €12 milion makes it much easier for the Blues to bring in the former Juventus man.
Despite the cheap fee, Dybala is likely to demand high wages and he has to want the transfer himself, with reports he will want around the £300k-a-week.

A few seasons ago, Dybala was one of the best attacking players in the world – and would have been a massive signing for CHELSEA – but that is no longer the case.
He is not really a player that will have the quality to adapt to the Premier League and Chelsea are better off trying to sign stars that are already proven in the English game.
So even if Pochettino wants him at the club – it may not be the move that gets CHELSEA back to the top and challenging.
But we guess he may add something to that Blues attack.
ABRAHAM CLAIM MADE –
Roma striker Tammy Abraham has revealed that CHELSEA defender Reece James keeps telling him to come back to Stamford Bridge.
The 25-year-old England international has registered 36 goals and 12 assists across 102 games for Roma and there may be more silverware on the way in the Europa League ahead of their semi-final second leg against Bayer Leverkusen.
Chelsea are in dire need of adding a striker to the squad that has the ability to score goals on a weekly basis – and that has led to alot of speculation about players that could be signed.
Now – Abraham has opened up and claimed that Reece James is trying to get him to go back to Stamford Bridge: ‘Just before I left Chelsea, [Fikayo] Tomori went to AC Milan and we talked a lot,’ Abraham, who has scored eight Serie A goals this term, told Tuttomercatoweb.
‘I remember the phone calls, none of us could believe what was happening. We had been at Chelsea our whole lives and in a moment we were walking away.
‘Everything I knew was Chelsea apart from a few loan moves, but even now I think it was the right time to leave.
‘I was ready to take a step forward in my career, I didn’t want to be considered a youngster or a player who had just come from the academy. It was time for me to spread my wings.
‘I still talk to so many Chelsea players, Reece James always tells me to come back!
‘We grew up together and have known each other for years – players like [Mason] Mount, [Declan] Rice and [Eddie] Nketiah.’
