Chelsea interested in wrapping up FREE deal to sign PL star after £200k-a-week contract offered
CHELSEA are not giving up on their ambition to sign winger Wilfried Zaha on a free transfer this summer after news that the 30-year-old has been offered a record offer.
Regarded as one of the most dangerous wingers in the Premier League – Zaha has been tipped to leave Crystal Palace for many seasons now – but his asking price has been way too high.
However – with his current deal finishing at the end of the current season – CHELSEA have once again been linked with a move for the attacker – as the incoming boss wants to add a bit more depth to the squad, According to the Football.London website
Recent reports on the Guardian mentions that Palace have offered a new four-year deal to the Ivory Coast forward worth around £200,000 a week, which would make him the highest-paid player ever in the history of the club.
Arsenal, PSG, Bayern Munich, Roma, and Marseille are also keeping tabs on Zaha’s situation, while he has also received interest from Saudi Arabia.

Look – Zaha is a player that CHELSEA should have signed a couple of transfer windows – they made a mistake not signing him
But now they have so many wingers – we dont think he is needed at Stamford Bridge anymore. So if the reports are true and Palace have offered him that massive contract, he may as well sign it.
The time for him to join a new club and try to play Champions League football is now passed – he is 30 years of age and doesn’t have much longer to play at the top.
It will be interesting to see just what the players does because he may not get that kind of offer from a big club – and may not get the game time over the next few seasons that he is getting at Palace.
