Chelsea to table offer for striker – asked for summer move already!
It has now been claimed that Chelsea are ready to table an offer to Manchester City for want-away striker Julian Alvarez.
With CHELSEA looking to add a new striker to that attack over the next few months – there has been some shock reports that the Blues could make a move for Alvarez at some point this transfer window.
Despite being a big part of that Man City side – it has been claimed that Alvarez wants more game time at the club and would be open to a move away if Pep Guardiola cannot give him what he wants.
However – it seemed that Man City will not be selling the striker this summer as Guardiola did not want to see the forward depart the club – but El Chiringuito claims that the Argentine forward has ‘shocked’ the English champions with his demands after only joining in 2022.
He is also said to have asked City for a ‘logical’ asking price for potential buyers
Alvarez has scored 36 goals in two seasons since joining Pep Guardiola’s team. But according to HITC Chelsea are now ready to table an offer to try and get a deal done for the striker
However – Alvarez might prefer a mover to Real Madrid, which may not look to invest heavily in another forward after Kylian Mbappe’s ‘free transfer’ this summer.

He is a very good striker – a very good option to come off the bench – but he is not the player that CHELSEA needs to bang in goals on a weekly basis – he would really struggle at the Blues.
But we also believe that Man City will not want to sell Alvarez to a big rival like Chelsea.
