£80M Chelsea target has been told to leave club ‘as soon as possible’

Shock Chelsea target Harry Maguire has been told to leave Manchester United as soon as possible because he clearly isn’t one of Erik ten Hag’s top two centre-backs.
The England international starred at the World Cup for the Three Lions, but Luke Shaw has started over him at centre-back in Man United’s first two league games since the mid-season break.
There had been some speculation in the media that Chelsea are plotting a shock move for the Englishman this transfer window as they seek to cover their defensive issues and add another defender to the squad.
Now – amid all the speculation and the rumours – Rio Ferdinand believes Maguire should leave as soon as he is possibly able to – Speaking to BT Sport, he said: “If I’m Harry Maguire, I’m looking for a new club right now.
“This new manager is showing him he’s not going to be one of the top two centre-backs.
“I’d be telling my agent to go and find me a club where I can play regularly.”

Maguire is not the type of player that Ten Hag likes to have at the back and it is easy to see why he is a player that could be allowed to leave.
The January window will not be the transfer season that he leaves and it is much more likely that he stays until the summer – but it will be interesting to see where he ends up as we cant see him joining Chelsea.
He would not be a regular starter at Stamford Bridge either if he made the move to London
