Chelsea free to wrap up world class deal as Spaniard all set for Madrid transfer exit

will Ramos come to premier league?

Long-term Chelsea target Sergio Ramos looks set to leave Real Madrid as a free agent when his contact expires on June 30.

The 35-year-old defender, who has been at the Bernabeu for 16 years, has reportedly fallen out with Madrid president Florentino Perez.

Spanish outlet AS claims the captain was unable about proposals over a 10 per cent pay cut for players due to the coronavirus pandemic, and It is claimed Ramos told teammates not to accept because the money would be used to fund a move for PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe.

Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Spaniard, while ESPN claims Man City are also interested should he be available this summer.

Thomas Tuchel knows that he needs to keep improving this side over the course of the transfer window as City will be spending, Manchester United will be spending and Liverpool have already started their summer spending.

And adding another experienced player like Ramos to the side, who is still regarded as one of the best in the game btw, would help ease the pressure on Thiago Silva to play every important game next season.

It will be interesting to see where he ends up, but Ramos is world class and still has one or two more seasons at the top of the game, and we would love to see him spend a couple of seasons in the Premier League.

Madrid losing him for nothing will be a massive blow to the squad, and it will also be interesting to see who else leaves the club.
