CHELSEA have told Mason Mount he is free to find a new club, sources have told Football Insider.

Mount has been a massive player for Chelsea over the past few bosses and has been constantly made the clubs player of the season – but this year he has barefly featured for Graham Potter.

He has not been as effective – he has not been able to make the impact that Potter would have liked and has found himself on the bench more often than not – and with his contract running down – there has been alot of speculation regarding his future.

Chelsea simply do not want to pay the midfielder the kind of wages that he is reportedly demanding – and that has led to alot of speculation in the media that he is a player that Jurgen Klopp would like to sign at the end of the season.

Now – With both parties unable to come to a deal the west Londoners have advised Mount he is free to explore an opportunity with another club ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

That is a huge boost to the England star’s suitors, who include multiple Premier League clubs led by Liverpool and Man United.
