Chelsea tipped to pay £100m+ to sign impressive 17 goal star

Alan Hutton has backed CHELSEA to pay up for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen in the summer.

With the fact that Chelsea have been keen to add a world class striker to that attack for many transfer windows now – there has been alot of speculation that Osimhen is a player that the club want.
Napoli are enjoying a stunning season, currently clear of Inter Milan at the top of the Serie A table and Osimhen has been a big part of that success, with 16 goals in the League this season.
Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport recently reported that Napoli are expecting bids of €120m (£107m) from Chelsea in the summer transfer window. And now amif the speculation – Hutton has tipped Chelsea to pay big money for the striker.
They need a striker definitely,” he told Football Insider.

I am very surprised that they have not got one so far. The situation with Lukaku and everything has not worked out.

Osimhen is an outstanding footballer. I saw him play against Rangers in the Champions League as well.

Napoli are absolutely flying this season but they paid about £70m for him before he hit this run of form, so they obviously saw something in him early on.

“He has got pace, he is big, strong, aggressive, he can score goals. It is going to be over the £100m but if any team can pay that it seems to be Chelsea at this moment in time.

So maybe that is an area where they will strengthen but I think they need bodies out the door and quite a number.

Look, money talks and if CHELSEA do offer the right amount of money for the man – then Napoli will allow their star man to leave.

He is having the best season of his life and Chelsea would be very lucky to bring him to the Premier League – but there other clubs interested in a possible deal and it will be interesting to see just where he ends up.

But as we said, he would be a very good signing for Chelsea as he does have the potential to score the goals that the club have been missing over the past few seasons.

But not for the money that is being talked about guys, that is for sure.
