Fans told Chelsea to make ‘SIT UP AND THINK OFFER’ in bid to win £120 million superstar
Chelsea could make a cheeky offer to win the race for Harry Kane this summer transfer window
Kane made his senior debut for Spurs back in 2011, and has since appeared in 336 games across all competitions for the club.
He has also hit 221 goals to become the second-highest goalscorer in their history, with 166 of those coming in the Premier League, which puts him seventh in the all-time list for the competition
However, despite all the brilliance and despite all the goals, he is yet to win a trophy at club level and has made no secret that he would want to leave in order to add a few trophies to that cabinet
That has led to many reports that Manchester City are favourites to win the race for Kane, but as they close in on a deal for Jack Grealish, they may not be able to afford both players, which could open the door for Chelsea to swoop in
And according to Sky Sports News’ Paul Gilmour, Chelsea could make an offer that make Spurs sit up and think, he was quoted on Sky Sports: “If Manchester United or Chelsea were to come in for Harry Kane, that would certainly set the cat among the pigeons. We said back in May that those two clubs and Manchester City were showing interest in Kane. We know Chelsea are still very much in the market for a striker.
“It would be an interesting situation were they to put some money on the table and try and test the waters to sign Kane.
“It’s unlikely because Manchester City are strong favourites, but Chelsea can pay close to Kane’s valuation, and while there is history between Chelsea and Spurs, they could make an offer which makes Spurs sit up and think.”
Kane is one of the best players in world football, but the way he is acting right now is not professional and the wrong way to go about getting a transfer.
If clubs are willing to pay his high asking price, then he can leave, until then, he is contracted at the club for another three years and needs to do his job’
