Chelsea to sign up 25-goal star – Chelsea have completed signing of Argentine defender – £40M star FREE join Chelsea

Chelsea, savic

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys could have missed today –

Chelsea are set to offer Cole Palmer a mega new contract and they are confident he will stay with them for the next decade.

The Blues paid £42.5million to Manchester City for him last summer and he repaid that faith with a staggering 25 goals in his first season at the club – which also earned him his first call-up to the England National side.

The winger penned a seven-year contract upon arrival at Stamford Bridge, which includes the option of a further 12 months, on £80,000-a-week.

That puts the 22-year-old in the lower end of wage scale within the Chelsea squad while it is only just over a quarter of what Raheem Sterling pockets in West London.

Now The Telegraph claim the West Londoners “are mindful of this and will reward Palmer with incremental wage rises to better reflect his importance and performances”

It is claimed that CHELSEA want to make sure that Palmer is one of the highest paid players at the club to warn off interest from clubs that have also been impressed by his performances last season.

Signing for Chelsea on just £80,000-a-week is made as the players is worth alot more than that – and his agent needs to make sure that a new deal is struck to get him in line with the clubs big earners.

He will be one of the players that help drive the club forward into a new era – but if he is not getting the money that he deserves – then he may push for a move away when clubs come in with offers.

CHELSEA needs to make sure that they get this deal done soon

DURAN FREE TO JOIN –

Jhon Duran and Aston Villa are on the same page over a possible summer transfer, as the Chelsea target is free to leave the club this window..

CHELSEA have been all over the headlines over the past few weeks as they start to get their transfer business done, with Omari Kellyman the latest talent to make the move to Stamford Bridge.

However – there is still alot of talk in the media that the board would like to continue spending over the next few weeks – and young striker Jhon Duran is a player that the board feel could develop into a big player for the club in the coming seasons.

There has been so much speculation and transfer talk about a potential deal – with many claiming that Chelsea are still chasing a transfer deal for Duran – and the player is keen to leave and his club are happy for it to happen.

Villa will allegedly accept bids of less than £40million after asking a high price for Duran at the start of the window.

Amid all the rumours – Dwight Yorke recently opened up and claimed that Duran has the potential to become a better striker than Jackson: ‘With Jhon Duran, Aston Villa need to make a football decision,’ Yorke said.

‘If it works for both parties that Duran goes to Chelsea, then it’s probably the best solution. It depends on if it works for Unai Emery and how he can replace Duran.

‘I did like Duran, I don’t think he had enough opportunities so I’m not able to determine whether he’d be a success or failure for Aston Villa.

‘Whether he’ll be a success at CHELSEA is another story, I can’t see him getting many more minutes there then he does at Aston Villa, since Chelsea already have Nicolas Jackson. I do, however, think he has the potential to become a better striker than Jackson.’

Jackson done a decent job last season – showed that he does have the potential to be a 30-goals a season striker – but there is something missing from his game that makes the board feel like they need a new forward.

Duran is seemingly a player they want – but why add another player to the side that is exactly like what the club have?

CHELSEA TO SIGN ANSLEMINO –

Chelsea have ‘completed’ the signing of Argentine defender Aaron Anslemino, according to Graeme Bailey.

Over the past few weeks – CHELSEA have been doing alot of transfer business and  signing some of the games very best and brightest talents as they seek to take the club into a new era.

Anselmino – who joined Boca’s academy aged 12 – signed a new four-year deal in January. The club are said to be well aware of the interest in their youngster and have consequently placed a £25m release clause in his contract, asking for around £17m should this figure not be met

But it seems that Chelsea have agreed to sign the talented defender – As Bailey has claimed Chelsea have ‘completed’ the signing of Argentine defender Aaron Anslemino

And It is claimed that he will be loaned back to Boca Juniors this summer after initially arriving for £17million. He will return to Stamford Bridge in January 2025

Anselmino is a very talented young defender that has the ability to be a very classy defender – but again he is a player that the club do not need to spend so much money on right now and a player that could struggle to make an impact on the side.

The CHELSEA board believe that they are signing players that will take the club forward – but that does not mean that talents have to make the move to Stamford Bridge at this stage of their careers.

Anselmino does not need to make the move to Europe right now and does not need to leave his homeland – but we can see why this would be a dream move for the lad and one that he could not turn down.
