Chelsea told potential £200k-a-week signing ‘will bring guaranteed goals’
Former Tottenham defender Michael Dawson has opened up and claimed that Ivan Toney would bring guaranteed goals to Chelsea and is surprised that nobody ha signed the big man yet.
Toney looked destined for a move to a Saudi club after agreeing personal terms with Al-Ahli, with the price on the forward to move to a Saudi club touching a low of 1/3 but now lengthening to 7/4 after today’s news.
Toney has long been linked away from Brentford, with a host of clubs interested in his services. Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are three clubs have been linked with the striker throughout the summer.
It has been recently claimed that CHELSEA have made a late offer to get a deal done for the player and amid the speculation and rumours, and Discussing Toney’s future on Sky Sports, Dawson said: ‘I would be surprised [if Toney is still a Brentford player by the end of the window].
‘When he got left out last week, that was a surprise to me with the new signing [Igor] Thiago being out for a long period. Brentford are trying to get money as he is going into his final year.
‘I am a massive fan of Ivan Toney. I cannot believe another Premier League club hasn’t come in to get him. The Chelsea’s. Chelsea sign everyone!
‘You are getting goals. Guaranteed in a Brentford team – 12 months ago, people were talking about him being an £80m player. I am disappointed. There are a lack of centre-forwards and goalscorers out there.’

We dont know what is stopping CHELSEA from signing Ivan Toney – he looks like a player that could score alot of goals in the Blues side so a move should be made.
But all that money that has been spent on the players they have – that is why a move has not happened yet,
