Frank Leboeuf believes his former club Chelsea should try and tempt Granit Xhaka back to the Premier League
Xhaka left the Emirates for Germany last year and enjoyed a superb season playing under Xabi Alonso, winning the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal and only losing one game in the process.
He has really become the heartbeat of that Bayer side and also the heartbeat of the Swiss National side – a far cry from the player that was so inconsistent at Arsenal during his 300 games for the club.
Now Leboeuf feels the 31-year-old would be the perfect addition to the Chelsea midfield: ‘I’m telling you the one who Chelsea should sign is Granit Xhaka. He’s so impressive and I think CHELSEA should have signed him when he left Arsenal,’ Lebouef told BoyleSports, who offer the latest Euro 2024 Betting.
‘He has been phenomenal for Switzerland at the EUROs and he was also the Player of the Season for Leverkusen – he suits Chelsea so well, particularly in midfield with Enzo and Caicedo.

Since Xhaka left Arsenal – he has really stepped up his game and looks world class everytime that he steps onto that pitch – but even though he would be better than what the Blues currently have – he is too old for their future plan
The CHELSEA board like to sign players that will make money over the next few seasons – Xhaka will not do that – so even though he could be a great signing for Chelsea – this is a move that will not happen guys.
XHAKA TOLD TO MOVE –
Chelsea target Jadon Sancho has been told to pack his bags and leave Manchester United this summer.
Sancho has fallen out of favour at United after a public spat with manager Erik ten Hag, who remained in charge after winning the FA Cup, and the winger spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund and played in the Champions League final.
According to reports in Italy, United have been offering the England international out and are looking to make a profit, and the Blues were offered the chance to sign the 24-year-old.
Old club Borussia Dortmund, where the 24-year-old shone back on loan, have reportedly been priced out of the race as he could cost £50million-plus – But former Liverpool and Chelsea star Glen Johnson told Paddy Power: “I think Manchester United and Jadon Sancho should shake hands and call it quits.
“He’s got some talent, but he hasn’t shown it at all at United.
” I don’t know what it is – I don’t know whether he gets on with the players, the manager, or likes Manchester, but as soon as he went back to Borussia Dortmund, he looked like a world-beater again.
It’s almost like he prefers to be the main man in a smaller pond.”

Jadon Sanco showed at the back-end of last season that the Bundesliga is the League that he needs to be in, that is where he plays his best football and that is where he should end up next.
We are sure that he will get a summer move at some point this transfer window as he is done at United under Ten Hag – which is a shame because he is a very talented player that can create and score goals.
CHELSEA do not really need another winger and that is probably the reason they made the decision not to make a move for Sancho
CHELSEA FREE TO SIGN RAMSDALE –
It has been claimed that Arsenal will allow Chelsea target Aaron Ramsdale to leave this summer for £50 million.
Despite having a very good first season at the Emirates – Ramsdale was pushed down the pecking order at the Emirates last season after the Gunners decided to buy David Raya on loan for the year.
The Spanish stopper came in and impressed so much that he established himself as the best stopper at the club and the man that won the golden glove – which prompted Arsenal to make the decision to keep him at the club on a permanent basis.
CHELSEA have been linked with a move for Ramsdale for the last few windows and are still interested, if you believe the reports, as they are still looking to improve their stopper situation at the club.
Now reports on the sun have claimed that Arsenal will allow Ramsdale to leave if their £50 million asking price is met this summer.
Andy Cole recently hit out at Mikel Arteta for his treatment of Arsenal star Aaron Ramsdale this season.
The former striker said, as quoted by DAZN:
“I think he’s been hard done by, I really do. He was so good for Arsenal last season and then all of a sudden, Mikel Arteta has gone out and got a new goalkeeper and initially claimed that he had two number ones, which was complete nonsense from day one.
“The way he’s disregarded Ramsdale has been really disrespectful. He’s mugged him off basically.”

Ramsdale was know that his time at Arsenal is up and once that summer window opens up – there will be quite a few offers for him to leave the club , he is too good to be sitting on the bench.
He could be a very good signing for the likes of CHELSEA
