Chelsea told sign striker – Italian reveals £100M star will be good signing – Chelsea free to sign £50M ace

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed today –

Former Chelsea star Frank Leboeuf has advised the club to sign Nantes striker Mostafa Mohamed.

Reports in the media that CHELSEA could try and make a move for Victor Osimhen in the January window, a man that they wanted to sign in the summer window and a striker that is easily regarded as one of the best in the game.

He has been in contract talks with Napoli for quite some time now, but has been unable to agree a new contract as the Italians are playing hard-ball and do not want to offer him the kind of deal that he feels he fully deserves.

However – it has been revealed in recent days that Osimhen is closing in on signing a new contract with Napoli – meaning that it will be very difficult for the likes of Chelsea to get a deal done for the man, and the Blues might look for another striker in the winter transfer window.

Now Lebeouf has asked the Blues to sign Mohamed, who is currently playing for the Serie A side and has scored five goals in 12 matches this season.

“Chelsea need a striker and an experienced midfielder. I said last season that Mitrovic would be good—he’s not world-class, but he’s a leader and a fighter. Victor Osimhen is having problems at Napoli, and maybe Chelsea can go for him in January. There’s also Nantes’ Mostafa Mohamed; I think he could do a good job.”

There are so many players linked with a move to CHELSEA – but the board need to make the right decision and sign an elite striker that can make an immediate impact on the side.

Mohammed is a solid player – but he is not a 25-goal a season man, and that is what Chelsea need.

OSIMHEN WILL DO WELL AT CHELSEA –

Chelsea Football Club legend, Gianfranco Zola says Napoli striker Victor Osimhen will do well at Stamford Bridge if he makes the move to London.

Osimhen is one of the most talked about players in world football right now and a man that the Blues are reportedly very keen to try and acquire during the January window as they seek to add an elite forward to the attack.

Osimhen

Premier League bound?

But CHELSEA have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Osimhen, after the Italians came out in the media and revealed that the big Nigerian is very close to agreeing a new deal with the now.

Now Fabrizio Romano is saying he doesn’t expect him to leave Napoli this winter, and only a crazy offer will get a deal done for the man.

However – as talk about the Nigerian’s future continues to ramp up about a potential £120million move, Zola has opened up and claimed that Osimhen would do very well at Chelsea if he signs for the club.

“I rate him as one of the top strikers around at the moment, for his energy, for his ability to score and also play with the opposition. I’m sure he can be a success in the Premier League as well for sure,” Zola told Obionepodcast.

“Of course the way, you know for what I see with Chelsea I think a player with this quality will do very well.

“He will change a lot of things for Chelsea to the positive in my opinion but again as I said, I truly believe that it was the right thing to stay again one more year with Napoli.”

If Osimhen signs that new contract at Napoli – it will be even harder for CHELSEA to get a deal done for the player as he will cost more. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out though

RAMSDALE BOOST –

Mikel Arteta has failed to rule out the departure of Aaron Ramsdale amid speculation that both Chelsea and Newcastle are keen.

David Raya has usurped Ramsdale as Arsenal’s No 1 since the 1-0 win over Everton in September and the club is set to activate an option to make his loan move from Brentford permanent.

Ramsdale featured in the opening four games of the season for Arteta and co. But David Ryaa has started to establish himself in that Arsenal side and there is a feeling that Arteta believes the Spaniard is the way forward.

That has led to some stunning reports in the media which have claimed that CHELSEA and Newcastle are very much interested in a deal to sign Ramsdale in the January window if he pushes for a move away from the Emirates.

Arsenal manager Arteta does not want to lose Ramsdale in the upcoming window, but he did not rule out a possible transfer either as he claimed that he cannot stop anyone from leaving the club.

Speaking to reporters, the Spaniard said: “I want Aaron with us. I am very happy to have two very, very good goalkeepers. We want to be better, so we want to add to what we already have. That’s the intention that we have.

“I cannot tell you that any Arsenal player is not going to leave in January. Or he is to stay here for the next three years. I won’t say that no player is going to go to Newcastle. Or no member of the staff either. I won’t say it. If you say yes or no, I won’t say it.

‘I cannot guarantee that nobody is going to be leaving in January. For Newcastle or any other club. So it is a no.”

If Ramsdale does decide to leave Arsenal then he will have his pick of clubs because he is a top stopper – CHELSEA and Newcastle would be very lucky to get the man that is for sure.
