Chelsea told they can sign midfielder for £25.7 million in January
Juventus are reportedly ready to sell USA World Cup star Weston McKennie in January which will open to the door for Chelsea
Over the past few seasons Declan Rice has developed into one of the best players at the club – and one of the most impressive midfielders that the Premier League has to offer.
He really is the leader at the Hammers and a man that they are hoping to keep at the club for as long as they are possibly too – but that has not stopped speculation regarding his long-term future at the club
Chelsea fc are continuing to be linked with a move for the England International – and it is believed that Rice has already made up his mind about leaving the Hammers after rejecting the clubs massive contract offer
However – if Chelse are unable to complete the signing of Declan Rice in the coming transfer windows – rumours have claimed that McKennie is a man that is now on the radar of the Premier League giants
He lifted the Coppa Italia in 2021, and to date has won 41 caps and scored nine goals for his country.
While he has played well in Turin, he has not been able to establish himself as a guaranteed starter in Massimiliano Allegri’s side, and as such the 24-year-old has been, for some time now, been linked with a move to the Premier League.
Chelsea may look to reignite their interest therefore, with Calciomercato reporting that Juventus are willing to sell McKennie when the transfer window reopens and will accept offers of around €30million (£25.7m).

If the reports are true and McKennie is open to a switch to the Premier League – he is certainly a player that impressed at the World Cup.
However – there is some question as to whether or not he will be a good addition to that Chelsea side – or if he would even get the game time he wants.
But if Chelsea wants a squad member – then he could be a decent signing for the right price
