WOW! Chelsea encouraged to replace key player worldie signing!
Nigel Reo-Coker has encouraged Chelsea to sign a replacement for Robert Sanchez – after the stopper once again failed to impress during his latest outing against Liverpool at the weekend.
Chelsea suffered their second Premier League defeat of the season on Sunday as they were beaten 2-1 by Liverpool at Anfield after goals from Mohamed Salah and Curtis Jones saw the Reds pick up an impressive three points.
Sanchez faced criticism for his inability to smother midfielder Jones effort from close range and now Reo-Coker has opened up and claimed that Chelsea need to replace the stopper
Asked if Chelsea can contend for the title with Sanchez in goal, Reo-Coker told BBC Five Live: ‘No. I think sometimes he can be a liability for Chelsea, in my opinion.
‘He’s a top, top shot stopper. But I think there are too many mistakes in him and lapses in concentration at times.
‘And one of the weaknesses in this CHELSEA side is sometimes when they do try to play out from the back they leave themselves vulnerable. A well-organised team that presses well with payers who are comfortable in one-on-one situations can catch them off guard at times.
‘For me, I feel they do need to improve in the goalkeeping area still for them to really talk about winning Premier League titles.’

This CHELSEA board will not want to sign a new stopper unless a young one that is very talented comes into the market, they will make their own decisions and will sign the players that fit their ambitons
We are sure that Sanchez will make more mistakes in the coming months – he is not the man that will help take Chelsea forward – but at the end of the day – and as we have just said – the Blues board do not need to take advice.
