Chelsea ‘VERY CLOSE’ to signing – star tells boss he wants move after talks opened
Chelsea are very close to agreeing a deal for Leeds United star Tyler Adams, who has reportedly told his boss he wants to move.
CHELSEA have been doing alot of transfer business this summer and have improved the squad in all areas of the pitch – but there is still plenty of time before the close of the window.
That has led to all sorts of speculation that Mauricio Pochettino is still keen to keep on improving his current squad and signing players that will be able to make a real difference to his squad.
And after the Blues completed a deal for Robert Sanchez – they are now focusing their attempts to sign Tyler Adams from Leeds.
WHAT IS THE LATEST –
Sources have told Football Insider that CHELSEA have already begun talks with Adams over a possible move to Stamford Bridge and are reportedly ready to pay £24 million in order to get a deal done.
Adams, 24, has told United boss Daniel Farke he wants to leave the club following their relegation from the Premier League last season
He made 24 Premier League starts in 26 total appearances for Leeds in the 2022-23 campaign before a serious injury ruled him out of the Whites’ crucial run-in.

Tyler Adams had a decent season for Leeds last season and was one of the clubs stand-out performers – but he is not a player that will have much of an impact at CHELSEA .
The move is too big for him to make – there are too many world class players already at Stamford Bridge that he would struggle to get ahead of.
We know he wants to be in the Premier League – but he still needs to play and joining Chelsea to be a bench warmer at this stage of his career, may not be the best option to make
