“He has a lot of quality” announces Willian as Chelsea look to seal Richarlison deal?

Chelsea target Richarlison’s had a cracking start to the season at Everton and that’s not gone unnoticed by his Brazil team-mate Willian.

Richarlison made the shock decision in the summer to sign for Everton in a deal worth £40 million after a very impressive season at Watford last year, despite the reported interest from Chelsea.

The Blues were keen to add a fresh, young and hungry winger to the squad as a long-term replacement for Pedro and were eyeing up a deal for Richarlison, but backed off because of the high valuation on the players head.

But with the January transfer window fast approaching and rumours beginning to circle once again, Willian can see why his Chelsea side were interested in the winger.

He said on the Sky Sports website: “Richarlison is doing very well with Everton. He is one of the greatest surprises of the Premier League at the beginning of the season.

“Scoring goals, being a key player for his club. And in his first call up with Seleção he scored twice and did a great job.

“He has a lot of quality, knows how to score goals and has a lot of potential to help the Seleção.”

Could Richarlison find himself with a move to Chelsea in the future?

The Brazilian is quick, skilful and has the ability to find the net on a regular basis, ass traits that most managers in the Premier League are keen to have in their squads, especially if they like width to the side.

So if Richarlison continues his rapid rise in the English game and continues to impress, then yes he could find himself at Stamford Bridge in the coming seasons, as at some point, he will want to play at the very top of the game.
