Tuchel has told Boehly he wants bargain world class winger signed for Chelsea
Chelsea fans have been told that Thomas Tuchel is keen to secure the services of Crystal Palace star Wilfred Zaha this summer
Chelsea was expected to make some big transfer signings this summer that would see a couple of defenders – a midfielder and a striker all make the move to Stamford Bridge
But despite all the speculation and all the rumours – Chelsea have only managed to secure the services of Marc Cucurella – Raheem Sterling and Kalidou Koulibaly – which has improved the squad – but not enough
And that now means that ChelseaFC will need to delve into the transfer kitty over the remaining weeks of the transfer window and finally secure some transfer signings – and it has been claimed Tuchel has added Zaha to his shortlist
According to the SUN, palace will not let him leave for free when his contract expires at the end of next season and are open to letting the attacker leave this summer for the right price
Now – according to Simon Phillips – Tuchel has made it clear to Ted Boehly that he would like the winger signed for the club this summer
Speaking to GMS, journalist Simon Phillips said: “They [some at Chelsea] put the name to Tuchel and Tuchel was keen on him – he likes the player.
“Nothing has developed there, but he’s definitely an option that could come in towards these last couple of weeks in the window, and I’ve been told that a fee will probably be around 25 to 30 million if we were to do business there.”
