£38M Italian ‘inclined’ to join Liverpool this summer – Klopp already gives green light

Juventus star Federico Chiesa is now ‘more inclined’ to join LIVERPOOL in a potential cut-price deal, it has been reported.

Jurgen Klopp is a man that knows he needs to spend some money this transfer window – he knows that he needs to add players to the side that will make a difference – he knows he needs to close the gap on Manchester City.

the German boss will be backed by the board this summer – as shown by the arrival of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai – and is looking into the idea of signing Chiesa from Juventus.

Juventus missed out on Champions League football after another disappointing season off the pitch and recent Reports from Italy indicate Liverpool are very much interested in a deal.

Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport recently claimed that Klopp has given the board the green light to sign Chiesa in a deal that would cost the club around £38 million

The 25-year-old is currently stuck in contract renewal talks but it appears a transfer away from Turin could be a real possibility especially if a big Premier League club comes knocking.

WHAT IS THE LATEST –

Speaking to Italian station TV Play (via Sport Witness), journalist Marco Guidi has claimed that Liverpool, Newcastle and Bayern Munich are among the clubs interested in signing Chiesa.

He adds, however, that the 25-year-old would prefer to sign for a ‘classic top club, such as Liverpool or Bayern Munich’.

DO LIVERPOOL NEED CHIESA?

Chiesa is a man that would offer LIVERPOOL something different in that attack – and for £38 million – it would not be too much of a risk.

There are plenty of areas of that squad that Klopp needs to work on and improve – so we are expecting it to be a busy last few weeks. But despite the links with Cheisa – we are not sure that he is a player that the German boss really needs.

But he will still be welcomed by the fans –
