Chelsea told to sign up Brazilian, powerhouse to get Chelsea move? Chilwell claim made, Coutinho makes transfer decision

Zakaria move to be made, Chelsea told sign up Willian, Chilwell claim made, Chelsea not ruled out Coutinho deal in Chelsea news roundup…

Fresh reports have claimed Chelsea are not ruling out a loan deal for Philippe Coutinho during the transfer window.

Coutinho has been in the transfer headlines alot over the past few months as all indications suggest that he is leaving Barcelona in the summer after failing to make any sort of impact on the side.

He has not made the impact at Barcelona that many had hoped for after his move from Liverpool, and has even been shipped out to Bayern Munich for the last few seasons as the Spaniards didnt know what to do with the Brazilian.

And it has been claimed that Coutinho is eyeing up a summer move back to the Premier League, where the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and even Newcastle United are all eyeing up a potential transfer deal.

And according to ESPN, a loan deal for Philippe Coutinho is still not being ruled out at this stage by the Chelsea board, as they know that adding a world class player like Coutinho to the side will give the club a little extra.

The Blues could be the Premier League’s big spenders this summer, as they prepare to make up for lost time in the transfer market, and Frank Lampard is set to get his first taste of Roman Abramovich’s cash since being appointed as Chelsea manager.

The club have already wrapped up deals for Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech and Kai Havertz could also follow, as it seems that he has become the top target for the club.

Former Leicester striker Kevin Phillips believes Chelsea target Ben Chilwell will leave the King Power Stadium this summer if they don’t finish in the top-four.

Chilwell has had another stellar season over at Leicester this season and has firmly become one of the best left-backs in Europe, which has led to reports in the media suggesting that Chelsea are keen on a deal.

Brendan Rodgers has previously stated that the Foxes have no intention on cashing in on their star left-back this summer, and have no need too, but Phillips thinks his hands may be tied if the club do not finish in the top-four and get Champions League football.

Speaking exclusively to talkSPORT, Phillips said: “He [Chilwell] was there as a youngster when we were there and we were monitoring him very closely and making sure he was being managed right, as we knew we had a gem on our hands.

“But, also, it has to come from the player; you have to listen, develop and have to live your life right and he certainly does that. He’s a very humble guy, very quiet but an awesome left-back.

“If Leicester weren’t to secure a top-four finish this season, I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the big boys come in and pay big money for him, because he’d certainly fit in to any of those top-three or top-four sides. Credit to the player but also you have to give big credit to Brendan Rodgers for bringing him on as well.”

Graeme Souness reckons Chelsea should stump up a three-year deal to keep hold of their “best player” Willian.

Willian has been in the headlines for the last few months as there has been constant reports suggesting that he wants to stay at Chelsea this summer, but is not being offered the three-year deal that he wants.

It is understood that the Blues are only willing to offer an extra two years to the Brazilian winger – which has caused for much frustration to the fans, club and the player himself that clearly wants to stay.

And amid all the speculation, Souness reckons the Blues would regret letting Willian slip through the cracks and believes that they should offer him the three-year contract that he currently desires.

He told Sky Sports: “I think he’s their best player. He wants a three-year [deal], they’ve offered two. I’d be giving it to him

“You watch him play, he doesn’t look like a player to me whose legs are going anytime soon and he’s got great qualities.

“So I would be bending over backwards to keep him at the football club.”

Chelsea are looking at signing Switzerland international Denis Zakaria during the summer transfer window.

Frank Lampard knows what type of players that he is looking to bring to Chelsea during the transfer window and has already sanctioned some top-class deals that should help the Blues next season.

Timo Werner has been signed to bang in the goals for Chelsea, especially after netting 34 last season, Hakim Ziyech will give Chelsea something different on the wings and add a bit more creativity to the side, while the possible arrival of Kai Havertz will give Chelsea another dimension in attack.’

But it seems that Frank Lampard will look to continue his summer of spending, as the Express reports that he is now interested in signing the highly-rated Zakaria once the deal for Havertz is officially announced.

Zakaria, 23, has been a key reason for Gladbach’s rise into the top four and his performances this season have also alerted Manchester United and Manchester City to a possible summer transfer deal.
