£250 Spurs exit! Cole tells Chelsea world class duo Kane and Alli ‘to force’ exit from Spurs after Pochettino announcement
Joe Cole has claimed long-term Chelsea targets Harry Kane and Dele Alli may force their way out of Tottenham following Mauricio Pochettino’s Premier League title revelation.
Pohcettino seemingly lost his cool after losing two games on the spin and has admitted that it now may take Tottenham 10 years before they end their wait for a trophy and add some silverware to the cabinet, something he needs to make his stint at the club a huge success.
And with Spurs having some of the best talents in world football, both Alli and Kane could decide to pack their bags and join a club that will challenge for more than a top four spot and the early stages of the Champions League.
Chelsea have been linked with moves for both Kane and Alli over the past few transfer windows, and with the Blues facing a huge transfer ban, there has even been some speculation which has suggested that Roman Abramovic could spend a big amount of money in the next transfer window.
And Cole has claimed that now both players could force their way out of the club in search of trophies, he told the Sky Sports website.
“In my opinion, if I’m Harry Kane and Dele Alli and my manager was saying we’re five or 10 years away from winning a trophy, I’m on the phone to the agent.
“I think all your quality English players like your Harry Winks and your Kanes and your Allis who have their sights set on winning Premier League titles, I personally would think ‘he thinks we’re [that far away]’.
Could Chelsea land both Kane and Alli?
Chelsea have the money to spend a whole load of money in the summer and attract big named players, and with Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy a business man, the right offers could indeed tempt Tottenham into selling two of their star players.
However, if Spurs do sell their star man in the coming windows it will surely be for a club abroad as they do not want to sell to one of the Premier League title rivals.
