Chelsea fans left fuming! Real Madrid star Courtois welcomes summer Hazard signing!

Real Madrid star Thibaut Courtois has once again urged Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard to join him at the Bernabeu in the summer transfer window.

Courtois managed to force his way out of the club after the World Cup last summer after learning of the interest from Madrid, with the Spanish giants managing to seal a transfer deal for the Belgian for just £35 million due to the fact that his contract at Stamford Bridge was due to run out just 12 months later.

However, Chelsea managed to keep hold of star man Hazard during that transfer window after Maurizio Sarri convinced the winger to stay put for at least another season and help the club get back into the Champions League, and challenge for the Premier League title.

But despite his 16-goals for Chelsea this season, it is widely expected that he completes a £98 million move to Madrid at the end of the season and finally ends all speculation surrounding his future, as Chelsea fans are getting sick of reading whether or not he will be staying.

And now Courtois has urged his former team-mate to join him at the Bernabeu, announcing he would be happy to see the Belgian make that move to La Liga.

‘He is one of my best friends in football,’ Courtois told El Transistor.

‘I do not know if he’s going to sign for Real Madrid, nor do I know if the club wants him.

‘But for me he’s one of the best of the world and as a friend I would like him to be here.’

Here is what we think.

Chelsea fans have got to that stage now where they do not care if Hazard stays or goes, especially as they have the money to find an adequate replacement if needed, so if he does leave the club it would be a loss, but it would not break the club.
