Brazilian and Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho’s ‘dream’ is to one day return to Liverpool.

Coutinho was one of the most gifted players in the Premier League with Liverpool and the Reds helped mould the Brazilian into one of the very best players in world football.

That ultimately led to him making that big money move to sign with Barcelona, a move that was supposed to make him an absolute superstar in the game. But for many reasons, he has failed to make the impact that many people had expected.

That has led to some reports linking him with a move back to Liverpool, especially as the goals have been drying up for Klopps men over the past few games. And it It could be argued that added threat from deep, such as that once provided by Brazil international Coutinho, would aid efforts on Merseyside

Reports continue to emerge over Barca wanting to cash in on the 29-year-old, with Liverpool’s name being mentioned as Coutinho’s ‘dream’ move.

And according to Spanish news outlet Sport, the Brazilian would love a move back to the Premier League giants.

However, the report adds that the ‘door is closed’ on that possibility, saying that Liverpool already have enough attacking players and do not have room for Coutinho in their squad.

Coutinho was a much loved player at Liverpool during his time there, but he is not the same player that he once was, and Liverpool are not the club that needed him. This move will not happen, should not happen, and would be a mistake if it did happen.
