Agent Makes Statement With Chelsea Keen on Signing Brilliant £43 Million Star
Alphonso Davies’ agent has hit out at Bayern Munich for giving the full-back an “ultimatum” over a contract extension, amid rumours Chelsea are still keen on a deal.
Alphonso Davies is a player that has the ability to play in a number of positions, and has been on the radar of CHELSEA FC for quite a few seasons, but they have never been able to get a transfer deal done.
However Davies is open to leaving Bayern Munich for the capital club in the coming transfer windows, a year before his contract expires, and Bayern are open to letting him leave the club.
The German giants have reportedly give the defender an ultimatum over a contract extension – and his agent has mow hit out at the club: “It’s not fair that they attack Alphonso now. We were close to reaching an agreement a year ogo,” Nick Huoseh told German newspaper BILD, as quoted in the Daily Mail.
“Then the entire management of the club was replaced. We didn’t hear anything for seven months. Although during this time I tried to contact the club myself.
“Now they give us an ultimatum and we must react in two weeks because the club is under pressure and has taken a long time to reorganise their management department? That’s not fair.”
Davies is turning a deaf ear to that speculation for and recently has told Kicker when quizzed on his plans for the immediate future: “I feel very comfortable here. I play in an incredible team at one of the absolute top clubs in Europe. I stay focused and give everything for the team and our fans.”
“In 2020, nobody really had me on their list, I was a relatively unknown quantity and I delivered. After that, the expectations of me were of course greater. I think that on the whole I did justice to this, but of course not always, not in every game.
‘There are very few players who really always manage to do that throughout their career. My style of play has changed a little since then. A little less tricks, a little less dribbling, a little less risk. But I understand other things better today than I did four years ago.
‘Of course I have more experience today. But I’m still young and I want to continue learning and improving.”
