Man United given Neves hope – De Gea sends big message and Man United get Lewandowski boost in Man United news of the day…

Man United-linked midfielder Ruben Neves has hinted he may have played his last game for Wolves ahead of the summer transfer window

The transfer window is just around the corner and it will give new boss Erik Ten Hag the time to delve into that transfer kitty and try to add players to the squad that will make a real difference to the squad

And that has led to alot of reports in the media which has suggested that Ruben Neves is a player that the Premier League giants would love to add to the squad over the next couple of months

Neves has carved out a reputation among the best playmakers in the Premier League since joining Wolves from Porto in 2017, recording 24 goals and 12 assists in 212 appearances – and he has constantly been tipped for a big move

It is no secret that all the big clubs believe that he has the ability to make a real impact – and the fact that he wants to be competing at the very top of the game has suggested that now would be the best time to leave Wolves

Now – The Portuguese star seemed to indicate a summer exit is on the cards after Wolves’ 3-1 defeat to Liverpool on the final day of the season: “The only thing I can tell you at the moment is that everyone knows what football is about, what our lives are about. Our career is really short and we need to take the opportunities we have,” Neves told reporters.

“All of us have dreams and we need to live those dreams in a small space of time. Let’s see what happens, I cannot say too much about it.”

There are not too many people that watch the Premier League that dont believe Neves is good enough to play for one of the big clubs in the English game

He can score goals – he can create and honestly – Man United would be fools not to make a move for the player should he come onto the market

For the right amount of money – he would be a fantastic signing

Lewandowski message sent…

The agent of Man United target Robert Lewandowski has revealed that the big striker does want to leave Bayern Munich this summer

Since joining Bayern in 2014, Lewandowski has emerged as a talismanic figure at the Allianz Arena and has easily developed into one of the most deadly strikers of this generation

In 375 appearances for the German club, he has scored 349 goals including 50 this season alone. and with that – has added eight Bundesliga titles – three German cups and the Champions League – to his trophy shelf

But he got the headlines rolling just a few weeks ago after it emerged that he will not be signing a new contract at Bayern and will look to leave this transfer window

Bayern have insisted that they will do everything in their power to make sure that the Polish superstar stays put at the club – but it seems that his heart is already set on departing the club.

Lewandowski’s representative Pini Zahavi believes Bayern are acting unreasonably and should let his player move on – Speaking to BILD, Zahavi said: ‘For Lewandowski, Bayern is history. There was no proposal from Bayern for Lewandowski to sign a new deal.

“He just wants to leave the club after eight years. He’s 34 and wants to make his dream come true.

‘He wants to leave this summer, none of us care about the money. The truth is that he hasn’t felt respected by the board for a few months now. Bayern lost Robert not only as a footballer but as a person.

‘Robert has the chance to move to the club he has always dreamt of. Why is Bayern denying him this opportunity? I actually had no intention of speaking in public.

“I have great respect for a historic club like Bayern, but I couldn’t help myself but react to the club’s latest statements.’

It is no secret that Barcelona are currently leading the chase to sign the great man – but considering their financial issues – Man United have a real chance to sign the man

De Gea staying put…

Spanish stopper David De Gea has revealed his plans to stay at Manchester United for next season.

There has been too many players in that Man United side this season that look like they do not want to be at the Manchester giants – that they are only there for the money and do not give everything for the side

But De Gea is one player that is able to hold his head up high this season after regaining his form for the club and establishing himself as one of the best in the Premier League – despite the poor finish to the season.

However, there has been some speculation in the media which has suggested that he could be one player that is open to leaving the club – with a move back to Spanish football something that he was reportedly interested in.

But it seems that he has other plans after coming out and announcing that he wants to be at Man United for the start of next season – but has told the players that want to leave – to just leave

“I want to forget this season and be 100% ready for next season. It has been horrible,” he told BBC Sport.

“Ones who want to stay, stay at the club. Ones that don’t want to stay go out. You don’t have to stay”.

There are not too many players in the Man United side that have been impressive this season – but De Gea has done his job

It is not his fault he has a dodgy back-line ahead of him and players that dont want to be there – so Ten hag will be happy to see that one of his world class players has committed his future to the club

This is great news for the club
