President OFFICIALLY admits right offer will get Arsenal transfer deal done
Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis says keeping star players like ARSENAL target Victor Osimhen “won’t be difficult” due to their contracts – but said “never say never” about a summer departure.
Osimhen is a player that Arsenal have been keeping a very close eye on over the past few months and it is widely believed that they will reignite their interest in the striker at the end of the current season.
Napoli do not wish to sell – But De Laurentiis says players like Osimhen , who has been linked to the likes of Arsenal, Man United and Chelsea, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, are susceptible to receiving other offers “they can’t refuse”.
Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia have shone for the Serie A leaders – who have a commanding 18-point lead at the Italian top-flight after 23 games – He said:
“These new players have proved to be reliable. The thing that I like is that this side goes beyond single players.
“The fact that we now have Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia, Kim [Min-jae] and other players in midfield makes means this team will last in time.
“I am very good at making contracts, so when they [Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia] come to me, they are blocked, so keeping them here won’t be difficult.
“However, never say never. Sometimes there are offers you can’t refuse, so you never know. To me, we’ll see them shine for a long time.”

Napoli are one of the worst clubs to try and do a transfer deal with as they will only accept top money – so if ARSENAL are keen to sign Osimhen, they need to make sure that they have the money to do so because de Laurentiis will make them pay
However – do they really need to sign a man that will demand to play every week when they have the likes of Gabriel Jesus at the club
