Impressive Italian ‘is perfect for Liverpool’ – Anfield bosses have been told!
Roberto De Zerbi is the perfect candidate to succeed Jurgen Klopp as LIVERPOOL manager, believes pundit star Danny Murphy.
The Italian has been very impressive with the Seagulls, having made his name at Sassuolo, and has fast become one of the highest rated managers in thee Premier League right now.
The future of Jurgen Klopp has been brought into question over the past few weeks, with many reports in the media linking him with the German International job, although it now seems that Julian Nagelssman is the man to take the hot seat.
But while Murphy admits a lot can change in the coming seasons, De Zerbi looks the man for the Anfield job when Klopp departs.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –
‘I’ve got the answer, so I’m not worried about (Klopp leaving),’ Murphy said on talkSPORT. ‘I think De Zerbi is perfect. He’ll be ready then (to take over).
‘I think he plays great football, he looks a strong character, he’s learning his trade in this league with Brighton and doing it superbly well. I don’t see a better candidate.
‘Things change in football really quickly. So, the flavour of the month might be someone else this time next year,” said the former England international. “But I think he’s (De Zerbi) the real deal.
‘There is something about him. After meeting him as well, (I can say) he’s got real gravitas. A real presence. And I love the way his teams play.
‘But I can’t see Klopp going for some time yet. He’s got this new influx of players, and he seems enthused by Liverpool’s start (to the season) and the promising start of some of the new signings.’

LIVERPOOL fans do not want to think about the future of Klopp, but we all know that he will see out his current deal at Anfield unless something happens and he gets the sack.
So, thinking about the next manager is not a big thing right now, but De Zerbi will definitely be an option if he carries on building his brand.
