Brilliant Arsenal star can become as good as Steven Gerrard – fans told!

Arsenal hero William Gallas claims Declan Rice can become as good as Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.

Declan Rice made the big decision last summer to make the move to Arsenal after being convinced to join the plan that Mikel Arteta had for the Gunners, and he has been brilliant this season for the club.

He has allowed those Arsenal attackers to showcase their brilliance and creativity – while also helping the back-line become one of the best in the Premier League with his coverage of the pitch.

Steven Gerrard is rated as one of the Premier League’s best ever midfielders and Gallas has opened up and claimed that Rice has the ability and quality to become as great as the Reds icon.

Gallas told Genting Casino: The players who were nominated for Premier League Player of the Year is usually players who can score or assist a lot of goals.

But it’s Declan Rice’s first season at Arsenal, he defends and attacks. For me, Rice is similar to Steven Gerrard, he’s not at his level yet but he can be.

Rice is full of energy, he can do everything on the pitch and has a lot of quality.

Also, Rice has impacted on the bigger and important games more than Bukayo Saka has, so that’s probably why he hasn’t been nominated.
