£157M star ‘would prefer’ to join Klopp’s Liverpool in the summer!

Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembélé would prefer a move to Liverpool if he were to leave Barca for the Premier League, it has been claimed

Dembele was signed by Barcelona as the man that they hopes would go on to replace Lionel Messi – who is currently at PSG – But injuries have hampered his time at the Camp Nou and he has really struggled to make an impact until this season.

But there has been constant speculation in the media that he is one player that Barcelona may be open to letting leave this coming transfer window – with both PSG and Chelsea just two clubs that were interested in a possible deal.

However – According to El Nacional, Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembélé would prefer a move to Liverpool if he were to leave Barca for the Premier League

The report claims that the French forward is more impressed by Liverpool’s new project to revolutionize their squad next season.

However – despite all the rumours and all the speculation – Dembele has recently come out and admitted that he does not want to sign for PSG, or any other team as he is more than happy at Barcelona

“Four months ago, I signed a new contract with FC Barcelona,” he told Eleven Sports. “I’m happy here. We will continue to work with Barça.

“Does Paris interest me? No, I’m fine in Barcelona. There’s a good living environment. I’m also fine with the coach.

“I have the confidence of the coach but also of the leaders of the club. When you have that confidence…I feel good and happy.”

This is nothing new as Dembele has always maintained that he is happy at Barcelona – but it will be interesting to see what the Spaniards do if the right amount of money is offered.

But would he really thrive at Liverpool – would he be able to stay away from injuries? We are not sure on that.
