Director hints at big Liverpool deal – Klopp wants £50M Frenchman – Powerhouse tipped for Anfield
Here is a roundup of the top Liverpool news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed today –
Liverpool are reportedly leading race to sign Khephren Thuram from Nice in the next transfer window.
LIVERPOOL have started the season in strong fashion and have been looking like a side that has the potential to challenge both Arsenal and Man City for that Premier League title.
But Jurgen Klopp knows that he needs to add some more quality to the squad – some more depth and freshness – and that had led to rumours that the exciting Thuram is a man that the club are interested in.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed a breakout campaign in the south of France and earned a call-up to the senior national team as well as a place in the Ligue 1 Team of the Season.
And according to a report in Tutto Juve. Liverpool are the favourites to land Thuram from the French outfit in the January window.
DO LIVERPOOL STILL NEED THURAM?
Klopp is a massive fan of the talents of the young Frenchman and does still want him at Anfield, but not for the money that is being talked about.
Nice want £50 million for the lad and LIVERPOOL do not want to pay that, and that is why he has not yet signed for the Reds.
There is no doubt that he is a player that Liverpool want to sign – it all comes down to money.
However – There are other areas of the pitch that Klopp needs to add to first and adding this lad, should not be high on the agenda. He is very talented and a man that Klopp could really work with, but he may struggle to make the impact the German wants.
FERGUSON TIPPED FOR MOVE –
Richard Dunne has tipped Brighton star Evan Ferguson to join LIVERPOOL in a ‘dream’ move for the Irishman.
Ferguson is easily one of the most exciting talents in the Premier League right now and a man that is tipped to become the next Erling Haaland.

It is no secret that all the big clubs are circling for a potential deal for the lad, especially after the start to the new season that he has had, but it is also no secret that he will cost in excess of £100 million.
There is no indication that he wants to depart the club at this stage of his career, and Brighton have already indicated that only a sensational offer will even tempt them into opening talks over a transfer.
Given his Irish background, though, Dunne has predicted Ferguson to join either Man United or Liverpool when the time comes for him to leave the Seagulls.
‘I’m sure Evan Ferguson would be delighted at the thought of playing for Liverpool and Manchester United as most Irish boys would dream of that,’ Dunne told BoyleSports.
‘I think it’ll happen for him in the future, but he’s still learning his trade at the moment at Brighton.
‘He’s in for some games, rested for others, and is still developing as a player. I’m sure Brighton will help him move on when he feels the time is right.
‘He’ll have the pick of all the top clubs when he does. You rarely get young players as versatile as him.
‘I think it’s too soon for him at the moment, but it won’t be long before it’s time to move on.’

There is alot of excitement around the young man, he clearly has a big future in the game. We can see him joining the likes of LIVERPOOL or Man United, but at the end of the day, he does not need to move right now.
He is developing nicely at Brighton and playing at a very god level.
SALAH HINT –
Saudi Pro League director of football Michael Emenalo has been hinting that a January move will be made for LIVERPOOL star Mohammed Salah in the January window.
Salah has been one of the best attacking midfielders in world football for LIVERPOOL over the past few seasons and a man they can really rely on when it comes to scoring goals.

Salah notched 30 goals and 16 assists in 51 appearances across all competitions last term for Liverpool – but became disappointed after the Reds missed out on Champions League football.
In total he has scored close to 200 goals through over 300 appearances that have seen him break countless records. His efforts have helped the Reds to Premier League, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, FA Cup, Carabao Cup and Community Shield honors.
Salah signed a new LIVERPOOL contract just last summer (2022), keeping him at the club until June 2025 and netting him a reported wage of £350,000-a-week, but there has been some talk that a stunning transfer move to Saudi Arabia could happen.
And Emenalo, formerly of Chelsea, has effectively been spearheading the division’s efforts to attract more big names in the future.
Speaking in an interview with journalist Philipp Kessler, Emenalo has acknowledged that Salah remains on both his and the league’s radar.
The 58-year-old said: “Mo is welcome at any time, but no one is pressured or forced to come.
“If anyone wants to come here and there is an opportunity to work with the transferring club in a very respectful and professional manner, we would be very happy to have them, but Mo is a personal favorite of mine.”

Salah is still one of the very best players in world football and a man that is still scoring goals for fun, so it would be strange for him to take the money and move to Saudi Arabia now.
We cant see a move happening in January, but anything could happen.
