Director tells Arteta chance to sign forward – Arsenal ready to sign German – Striker open to Gunners move
Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys could have missed today –
There has been some reports in the media which have claimed that Arsenal are ready to make a move and try to sign Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane in the next transfer window.
Sane has developed into one of the best attackers in the Bundesliga over the past few seasons after making the decision to Leave Man City for the Bundesliga, but there has been alot of speculation regarding his immediate future.
The German has been in contract talks with Bayern for quite some time now, but has failed to agree a new deal with the club, meaning that Bayern chiefs are ready to cash in one of their best players.
The likes of Man City, Liverpool and even Newcastle have been linked with a move for Sane over the past transfer window, but According to Fichajes, both ARSENAL and Chelsea are keen on Sane.
The Germany international is nearing the end of his current deal at the Allianz Arena, meaning he is attracting plenty of interest ahead of potentially becoming a free agent next summer.

Mikel Arteta has enough quality wingers to choose from at Arsenal right now – but there are also alot of players in the side that are simply not good enough to help drive ARSENAL forward – Sane is.
He is proven at the very highest level of the game – is proven in the Premier League – and the kind of money that Arsenal could get him for in the January window means that he could be a real bargain.
OSIMHEN CHANCE –
Napoli director Mauro Meluso has opened up and told the likes of ARSENAL that there may be a chance to sign Victor Osimhen when the January window opens up in just a few Months time
Osimhen was heavily linked with a move to the Emirates over the course of the summer window, as the club were desperate to add a striker to their attack before the season started, many reports in the media suggested.
But despite all the rumours, despite all the speculation that he could be heading to the Premier League – Osimhen never made that move to London as his asking price was far too high and in the end, he ended up making a loan move to Galatasaray.
As for the Galatasaray move, Meluso says it was a decision forced by the circumstances, and admits there could be a deal done for Osimhen to head elsewhere come January.
He said: “It was a last-minute solution so he would not lose the first three months of the season. We will see in January.”

There is no doubt about it – Osimhen is one of the best strikers in Europe and a man that Arsenal fans wanted to see arrive – so many were shocked when that switch to Galatasaray happened.
Osimhen moved because he wanted game time and that is what he is getting – Napoli would probably have loved to keep the player – but at the end of the day – he just wanted minutes.
And when the January transfer window opens up – there may be an opportunity for the likes of ARSENAL to make a fresh move for the man – as they still need to sign a striker that can help bang in the goals on a weekly basis.
What they have is simply not good enough for a massive club like them.
OSIMHEN WOULD BE OPEN TO ARSENAL MOVE –
Victor Osimhen remains very interested in playing for Arsenal and is weighing up a move to the Emirates in January, it has been claimed in the media.
ARSENAL have been credited with a strong interest in Osimhen for a number of years and reportedly sent a delegation to Naples on deadline day to get a deal over the line for the striker ahead of the new season.
Reporter Iomie Stanley has told icfootballnews: ‘There is little doubt about Osimhen’s credentials as a top-tier striker. Since joining Napoli from Lille in 2020, Osimhen has developed into one of the most feared forwards in European football.
‘His explosive pace, physical presence, and clinical finishing have made him a standout performer in Serie A and the Champions League. In the 2022-23 season, Osimhen’s goals propelled Napoli to their first Serie A title in over three decades, cementing his reputation as one of Europe’s elite strikers.
‘At Napoli, he consistently delivered goals, becoming a focal point of their attack. His ability to finish from both inside and outside the box, combined with his aerial prowess, means he possesses the complete package as a forward.
‘If Arsenal wants to sign a striker – Osimhen would be a great option’
