Dortmund Director Zorc address Jadon Sancho transfer rumours with Chelsea ready to pounce

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said the Bundesliga club would be happy for Jadon Sancho to stay as Chelsea are keen on a deal.

There has been so much transfer speculation in the media about the future of Sancho that Chelsea fans do not know what to believe, and whether or not their club will actually make a transfer move.

With 17 goals and 17 assists in the Bundesliga this season, Sancho is already considered to be one of the finest talents in European football, and that is why the likes of Chelsea have been so keen to try and wrap up a deal.

Nobody knows if he will actually make it back to the Premier League this summer, but The Borussia Dortmund star has been questioned over the speculation surrounding his future, and he has failed to rule out a possible move to the Premier League

Now Zorc has addressed the rumours regarding Sancho on Thursday, saying: “Jadon is an outstanding footballer with a quota that I have never seen at this age.

“I think it would even stand up to being one of the largest in the industry if you look at its age.

“I would be happy if he would still play with us this season. And that’s the current state of affairs.

“First of all we have to stick to the facts – and they are so, that we still have a contract with him until 2022.”

So much speculation about the future of this young man, it must be driving him crazy. But look, Do Chelsea really need to spend £100 million on Sancho and add him to this already impressive attack?

They already have Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech and the possible arrival of Kai Havertz?, where would Sancho fit into the system?

There are other areas of the pitch that Chelsea need to work on and if they are to spend £100 million to try and get a few new signings, then they should start and try to get that defensive side of the game all sorted out, as that will be the area next season that stops them from challenging for that Premier League title.
