Dortmund address Jadon Sancho transfer rumours with Manchester United keen

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said the Bundesliga club would be happy for Jadon Sancho to stay in 2020-21 as Manchester United are keen on a deal.

There has been alot said about the future of the gifted young man over the past few months, but it seems that Manchester United are favourites to try and secure a transfer deal in the summer window, if he leaves Dortmund.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants money to spend, needs money to spend, and needs players like Sancho to come in and give him that superstar factor that he has been missing on the wings since he took over as Old Trafford boss.

However, there has been some reports in the media suggesting that United will not spend more than £50 million on the winger in the transfer window, which is well below that £109 million valuation that Dortmund have placed on the head of Sancho

And Dortmund are apparently unwilling to lower their asking price for Sancho as the German side seek £109 million ($143m) from United, which has meant that a deal has not progresses from just rumours.

Zorc addressed the rumours regarding Sancho on Thursday, saying on BILD: “Jadon is an outstanding footballer with a quota that I have never seen at this age.

“I think it would even stand up to being one of the largest in the industry if you look at its age.

“I would be happy if he would still play with us this season. And that’s the current state of affairs.

“First of all we have to stick to the facts – and they are so, that we still have a contract with him until 2022.”

Nobody knows how this will play out, but unless Dortmund drop that massive asking price, this is a deal that will surely not happen?
