Big news! Dortmund admit ‘are willing to discuss selling Jadon Sancho’ with Manchester United on standby?
Borussia Dortmund’s chief executive Hans-Joachmin Watzke admits the club are willing to discuss selling Manchester United target Jadon Sancho, but doubts anyone could match their asking price.
There has been alot of speculation in the media suggesting that Unitedare willing to splash around £100 million in the summer to try and acquire the services of Sancho, who has become one of the most exciting wingers in the Bundesliga over the last few seasons.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to bolsters his squad at the end of the season and improve the side enough to get back challenging for that Premier League title, and needs a bit more quality and creativity on the wings
It has been claimed over the past few days that United are ready to get the cheque-book in the summer window and bring Sancho to the premier League for a fee of around £70 million.
However, Dortmund reportedly rate him at £100m, with Manchester United among those thought to be interested, and although they have claimed that they are will to letting the young man leave, they also claim that it would be unlikely that clubs can meet his asking price.
Watzke said: ““If Jadon approaches us and says he wants to leave no matter what – which has not happened so far – and a club wants to spend what we are asking for, we will discuss it.
“But I don’t think a club will pay the fee we want.”
Look, until the transfer window is closed and the players announces that he does not want to leave, there will continue to be alot of transfer speculation about where he will end up in the coming months.
But all we know is, the lad is brilliant, he needs to come to the premier League and any of the top clubs will be very lucky to sign him, even for that £100 million fee.
