Dutchman in Chelsea talks – Brazilian close to sealing Blues move – £315k-a-week star to seek move!
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed –
Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson has said that CHELSEA midfielder Enzo Fernandez could get fed up with the Blues if results do not improve.
The 22-year-old, who cost £107m, only spent six months in Portugal but attracted the attention of several clubs during Argentina’s triumphant World Cup campaign in Qatar.
His move to Stamford Bridge has not worked out like he had hoped thoigh – and he has not made the impact that American owner Ted Boehly would have liked, but that has not been the players fault.
The whole Blues squad have not been performing over the past few seasons, and with all the transfer signings that have been arriving at the club, Enzo has been the mainstay in that Chelsea side.
He signed an eight-and-a-half-year deal at Stamford Bridge to keep him at the club until the summer of 2031, and after another poor start to the new Premier League season, Merson has claimed that he could get fed up if the results do not improve.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –
Merson told Sky Sports: “Mauricio Pochettino will get it right because he’s a good manager, but it’s going to be hard. If they get in the top four then they will be pulling up trees.
“They’ve bought too many players that are the same. Enzo Fernandez is different class – a cut above the rest. But how long will he stand for this?”

There is no doubt that Enzo Fernandez is a very gifted player that has a bright future in the game – but he didnt need to make such a move right now – he has joined a side that is really struggling, which will reflect badly on his because of his high asking price.
He did not join CHELSEA to be challenging for a top six place, he didnt join not to play Champions League football and he didnt join to not compete for titles, he wants all those things.
Chelsea will not have to sell the man for many seasons – but if he is not getting the rewards he was promised when he joined – there are other clubs interested.
MOSCARDO TALKS –
Chelsea are still in talks to sign Gabriel Moscardo from Corinthians – and the Blues are now said to be favourites ahead of Arsenal.
Moscardo is the latest talent to attract the attention of Todd Boehly’s heavy-spending Chelsea, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano. Reports suggest that the Blues have made a €21m offer for the 17-year-old starlet.

CHELSEA have a transfer plan that revolves around some of the best young talent in the game and they are keen to keep on spending over the next couple of months, even though the transfer window has closed for the Premier League.
WHAT IS THE LATEST –
Now, according to Brazilian news outlet Lance. Chelsea are still in talks with the Grazilian side over a deal for Moscardo.
And according to Itatiaia – Corinthians are actually keen to sell the 17-year-old to Chelsea, as there is a £13m release clause in his contract available to Brazilian clubs.

Another day, another talent linked with a move to Chelsea that does not need to make the move at this stage of his career, he is not ready to make any sort of impact on that Blues side and should stay put for another couple of seasons.
We have already seen over the past few weeks that players Chelsea have just signed, talents that are for the future, have been sent out on loan and will not be ready for the club for a good few year.
So, look even though the Brazilian sensation is very talented, even though the Brazilians are keen to sell the lad to Chelsea, it is not the right time to come to Europe and he needs to stay put.
He is not needed at CHELSEA; he is not a player that Mauricio Pochettino wants and is not a player that fans will get excited about. So the Blues should save their money, wait until January and then sign some readymade players that will make an immediate impact.
That is what we believe anyways.
MAATSEN TALKS –
Italian Journalist Fabrizio Romano has opened up and claimed that Chelsea are working on a deal to sign up Dutchman Ian Maatsen.
Maatsen is a lad that Mauricio Pochettino has used in the opening weeks of the new Premier League season after the Dutch lad had an impressive pre-season with the Blues.

Maatsen
There was alot of interest in the Dutchman this summer, with the likes of Burnley and Newcastle United just two clubs that were reportedly interested in a deal for the defender, but in the end, he stayed put as he wants to fight for his place in the side.
Now Italian Romano has opened up and claimed that CHELSEA are now keen to tie Maatsen down to a new contract at Stamford Bridge as his future at the club depends on whether or not he signs a new contract.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –
He Tweeted: ‘Chelsea want Ian Maatsen to sign new long-term deal — this was also issue on Deadline Day as #CFC agreed on £31m package with Burnley due to contract situation… but Maatsen rejected.
‘Future now depends on contract; new deal or solution to be found on the market in 2024’

After such an impressive pre-season for Chelsea and then to be included in the opening games of the weekend, it came as a massive shock on deadline day that the Blues agreed to sell Maatsen.
But the fact they have spent so much money over the last couple of transfer windows – they need to make money when possible, in order to help finance the books and Maatsen is seemingly a player that they will allow to leave if the money is offered.
Look, he will probably sign that new contract as he wants to prove himself at Chelsea, but at the end of the day, if a club makes a big offer in January or at the end of the season, the Board will allow him to leave.
It doesn’t really matter if he signs a new contract, money talks to those new CHELSEA owners.
