Arsenal given chance to sign Dybala – Elneny will sign contract – Nunez wants Premier League move in Arsenal news of the day…

It has been revealed that top-class Arsenal target Darwin Nunez wants a move to the Premier League

Despite the fact the transfer window is still many months away there is still alot of speculation in the media about the type of players that Arteta will get to bring to the club, and how much the board will hand him in the transfer window

Now we all know that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is enjoying himself over at Barcelona after leaving the club in the January transfer window, and Alexandre Lacazette will be out of contract at the end of the season, meaning that Arteta will need a new striker

There has already been a number of players linked with a move to the Emirates, but now it seems that Arsenal have started making moves to try and secure a bargain £60 million deal for the impressing Nunez

Clubs from all over Europe are very much interested in the striker – but IcFootballnews has now learned that a move to the Premier League is one that Nunez would prefer most

However, a deal for Nunez hinges on the club providing him with Champions League football, something that the Gunners may struggle to do before the end of the season

It was revealed on Tuesday that the Uruguayan forward has a £127million release clause in his contract, but it is thought the Portuguese side are willing to do business for around £68m

Nunez coming to the Premier League and playing for a massive club like Arsenal, that is one giant leap to make and we can easily see him struggling to score the goals, reading too many media headlines and becoming a flop

However – he really is a talented striker and if the Gunners can convince him to make that move to the Emirates – and manage to get the very best out of him – he could be a very special signing

But getting Champions League football may now be a struggle

Arsenal given Dybala chance

Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign outgoing Juventus star Paulo Dybala, the latest reports have claimed

Dybala is a player that been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League ever since the opening of the January window. but since he decided to stay put until the end of the season, he is no free to sign for a new club on a free deal

It is no secret that Mikel Arteta wants to add some more quality and experience to a side that needs to push on and start competing for that Premier League title once again in the next couple of seasons.

And that has led to many reports that Arsenal will open talks with the players people and try to convince him that a move to the Emirates is the best one for his career.

The likes of Inter and Atletico Madrid have been linked with Dybala, but Arsenal will look to bring him in on a free transfer once their season is over – and they have now been offered the chance to sign up him

It is believed that he wants a £10M signing on fee and around £200,000-a-week wages – something that would make him one of the highest paid players at the Emirates if they do decide to do this transfer deal

However, Dybala is only interested in signing for a club that will be playing in the Champions League next season – so the Gunners will need to make sure that they finish inside that top four spot before making an offer.

It is easy to see why so many clubs are interested in a player that would cost around £60 million to sign – so the fact that clubs can get him for free – it will be an interesting one to see just where he ends up.

Arsenal fans always get excited when the transfer window opens up as they normally see some big players linked with the Emirates

So lets see if the Gunners make a move – they would be fools not too

Elneny will sign deal…

Mohamed Elneny has told the Arsenal board that he will sign a new contract to stay at the club if they are prepared to offer him a deal

The Egyptian star has found game time hard to come by this season and has had to watch the games from the bench, but he has played a key role in recent victories over Manchester United and Chelsea,.

The injury to Thomas Partey has offered Elneny the chance to shine, and with reports suggesting that Mikel Arteta will not want to lose many more players in the transfer window, he’s indicated he’d be willing to sign a new contract is one is offered.

His contract expires at the end of this season and it remains to be seen whether Elneny will extend his stay in North London or not – but here is what he said: “I’ve said before, if Arsenal want me, it’s my club, my family, but it’s not my decision,

“I have to wait for them to say ‘Mo, we want you’.

“Since the first day I have been here, it has felt like a family. We really work like that here, it’s such a beautiful club.”

He added: “I always believed,

“I do my job, I let Mikel (Arteta) do his job too and respect his decisions. He always does the right thing for the team, that’s what I believe.

“Partey and Granit Xhaka were playing and doing really well, there was never anything to explain, I understood.

“I just knew I had to be ready, we work as a team and in football everything can change in one second.

“When you suddenly are playing and the fans can see you, when you feel you play well, when you’re winning, you feel that change.

“I’m really proud when I hear something good about me, and they see how hard I work for this club.”

Look, Elneny is not the most glamourous of players, he is not the most exciting player to watch, but he does a decent job for the club when he is called upon

If he is happy being a member of the squad rather than a regular starter, then there is no harm in offering him a deal until the end of next season and keep him in the side

Arsenal do not have the biggest squad in the Premier League and with Mikel Arteta knowing that he will not get hundreds of millions to spend, adding to the squad and not losing players is what the club need

So it will be interesting to see how this plays out now that he has admitted that he is open to signing a new deal.
