Dybala agent in London – Arsenal to sign Marquinhos and Nketiah told to sign Gunners deal in Arsenal news of the day…

Arsenal have reportedly agreed a deal to bring Brazilian winger Marquinhos to Europe – and to the Emirates

The season is nearly over and the transfer window is only a few weeks away from opening – meaning that Mikel Arteta can bring a few more players to the squad

The Spaniard let a number of squad members – that were no longer needed – leave the club in the January transfer window – meaning that he will need to buy players that will make an impact on the side – but will also add more depth.

Marquinhos broke through into the Sao Paulo side as a 18-year-old, making his debut against Flamengo in July, 2021 – and has been mightily impressive for the Brazilian side over the past couple of seasons

All the big clubs have been keeping a very close eye on his performances – his ability and his very low asking price – but it seems that Arsenal have now won the race to get a transfer deal done

Goal have claimed the Gunners have been holding serious talks with the Brazilian side about the young man for months now and that the fee for Marquinhos has been agreed – which will be around £3 million

The reports adds Arsenal have taken advantage of a contract loophole to land the forward for such a low price, with Sao Paulo reluctantly having to accept the offer due to fears he could leave for free.

He is left-footed and is comfortable on either wing – so Mikel Arteta will like that he is versatile enough to play in a number of positions – providing that a deal goes through.

We do not know much about the lad – just what we have seen online – but he looks like a real talent and this is a massive move for him to make – lets see if he is able to be the next big Brazilian sensation to come to Europe

Nketiah message sent…

Bacary Sagna believes the highly-impressive Eddie Nketiah should stay at Arsenal and commit his future on a new deal

Nketiah is a man that has been impressing in recent weeks and there are many fans out there that believe that he should be offered a new contract to stay at the club for the forsee-able future.

It is believed that he is holding out – and Arsenal are holding out – until the end of the season to discuss whether or not he should stay at the club – as he wants to be a big part of the side next season

However, it is widely expected that Mikel Arteta will bring in a new striker that will be the main man at the Emirates next season – meaning that Nketiah would probably be shifted down to the bench again

But – amid all the speculation and all the rumours – ex Arsenal star Sagna has opened up and encouraged the young man to sign a new contract with the London giants – claiming he is a great addition to have in the squad

He exclusively told SunSport: “Nketiah should stay. It’s never been easy for him.

“But he’s played a few games in a row now and demonstrated his ability and answered his critics perfectly.

“He’s shown the world he’s a top striker that can really help the club.

“He’s a great addition to the team, he’s scored some great goals and should think about committing his future to Arsenal.”

We can see the problem that Nketiah has with signing a new contract at the Emirates – so if they cannot convince him that he will get a real chance to be the main man at the club – then yes – he should leave

But we do not believe he will and he will sign a new contract.

Dybala agent in town…

It has been claimed in the Italian media that possible Arsenal signing Paolo Dybala’s agent is in London – to possibly complete a move to the Premier League

Dybala is a player that been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League ever since the opening of the January window. but since he decided to stay put until the end of the season, he is no free to sign for a new club on a free deal

It is no secret that Mikel Arteta wants to add some more quality and experience to a side that needs to push on and start competing for that Premier League title once again in the next couple of seasons.

And that has led to many reports that Arsenal will open talks with the players people and try to convince him that a move to the Emirates is the best one for his career.

The likes of Inter and Atletico Madrid have been linked with Dybala, but Arsenal will also look to bring him in on a free transfer once their season is over and they know that they have Champions League football – it has been claimed in recent weeks

But now – According to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com via Football Italia, the agent of Juventus star Paulo Dybala is in London to talks to prospective clubs about a possible deal for the attacker

We do not know if Dybala will make a move to sign with Arsenal in the summer, we dont know if he will even leave Juventus. But we know that he is a world class player that could shine in the Premier League

It is easy to see why so many clubs are interested in a player that would cost around £60 million to sign – so the fact that clubs can get him for free – it will be an interesting one to see just where he ends up.

Arsenal fans always get excited when the transfer window opens up as they normally see some big players linked with the Emirates

So as we said – this will be an interesting one to watch as Dybala is a world class player.
