Elite star ‘would be keen on going to Chelsea’ – big money will get deal done

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly keen on joining Chelsea, according to journalist Dean Jones.

Osimhen is one of the most talked about players in world football right now and a man thay the Blues are reportedly very keen to try and acquire during the January window as they seek to add an elite forward to the attack.

But CHELSEA have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Osimhen, after the Italians came out in the media and revealed that the big Nigerian is very close to agreeing a new deal with the now.

Now Romano is saying he doesn’t expect him to leave Napoli this winter, and only a crazy offer will get a deal done for the man.

However – as talk about the Nigerian’s future continues to ramp up about a potential £120million move, Jones has opened up and claimed that the big man would be interested in a move to Stamford Bridge.

“I think he would be keen on going to Chelsea,” he told GiveMeSport. “I do think that there is something in the stories that he might choose Chelsea. I do believe that.

“Will Chelsea go and sign him is the big question. A month ago, there were strong signs that Chelsea would go aggressive again in the market and try to sign a striker. But I think a lot will have to do with how Christopher Nkunku comes into this team now.

“It will depend on what kind of impression he makes from a goalscoring perspective, how he influences the make-up of that frontline and what he can bring out of other players.”

It is a shame that we may never see Osimhen in the Premier League – but once he signs that new deal – it will be even harder to get a move done that is for sure.
