Announcement soon! Full International has completed his West Ham medical
Chelsea star Emerson has completed the second part of his medical ahead of his West Ham switch
After struggling for game time at Chelsea and falling well down the pecking order at the club, he made the decision to go out on loan at Lyon, a move that has worked out quite well for the defender
He was an ever-present since crossing to the other side of the channel, and He has played 32 times for Lyon last term – scoring one goal and providing a further two assists – but he returned to the Bridge in the summer
And after the Blues completed the signing of Marc Cucurella earlier in the transfer window – the left-back was made surplus-to-requirements at Stamford Bridge and is allowed to leave the club
West Ham have swooped in and made an offer to Chelsea that they cannot refuse as he is about to sign with the Hammers
Palmieri is having second part of his medical this morning ahead of his £15m move to West Ham from Chelsea.
Personal terms have been agreed and a formal announcement is expected soon.
He would be West Ham’s seventh signing – taking their spending past £120m in this window.
