£45M man confirms Chelsea talks – Chelsea favourites to sign Brazilian – Potter reacts to Ronaldo talk
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you may have missed…
Chelsea manager Graham Potter is ‘unenthused’ by the prospect of signing Cristiano Ronaldo
Ronaldo is a player that has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons this season and is once again tipped to pack his bags and Leave Manchester United in the next transfer window
The 37-year-old hit out at Erik ten Hag and the club’s hierarchy in an interview with Piers Morgan.
Speaking about Ten Hag, Ronaldo said: ‘I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me.
‘If you don’t have respect for me, I’m never gonna have respect for you.’
And that has once again opened the speculation that Chelsea are ready to swoop in and take him to Stamford Bridge – as Ted Boehly is a massive fan of the Portuguese superstar.
According to MailOnline, Boehly could reignite his interest in Ronaldo and may hold further talks with Jorge Mendes over a potential deal.
But Potter is understood to be as ‘equally unenthused’ as Tuchel at the prospect of having Ronaldo in his Chelsea squad.
Ronaldo being on the market is nothing new – he is becoming more trouble than he is worth.
A few years ago he would have been a brilliant signing for Chelsea – but he is past his best and honestly – would bring too much wanted attention to the Bridge
It could be a massive mistake for Chelsea to make a move for the man
Zacharyan confirms talks –
Arsen Zacharyan has opened up and admitted that there are talks going on about joining Chelsea in the cominh window
Zakharyan is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in world football and Chelsea were willing to pay his €15m (£12.6m) release clause, however, the deal collapsed due to FIFA and UEFA restrictions on signing Russian players.
However – Chelsea are still keeping a close eye on the talented young man and he has recently come out and stated his desire to join the Blues –
Now – Zacharyan has opened up and admitted that talks are now underway.
“You can ask the club or my representatives. I think it’s all right. Talks are underway. But I won’t reveal all the cards.”
Now if you believe the words of Iomie Stanley – he would be a very good signing for the Blues – he told IcFootballnews: ‘If it was not for that FIFA ban – Chelsea would have Zacharyan in the side already.
‘they are impressed by his ability and believe that they can turn him into that next big thing – especially now that Graham Potter is in charge of the club.
‘For the right money – he would be a very good signing for the club – but it will be a tough task to actually get a deal done with all the Issues in the world right now.
‘But he is a talent and would be a great buy.
‘However – Potter has some serious issues that he needs to sort out and we are not sure that signing a talent like Zacharyan for now would be the best way to solve his issues.
‘He would be a good signing for the Blues – but not to solve the clubs issues in attack.”
Endrick claim made –
Blues fans have been told that Chelsea are favourites to sign Palmeiras striker Endrick in the coming transfer windows.
The 16-year-old striker has been heavily linked with a move to many of Europe’s top-flight sides lately as he continues to impress for boyhood club Palmeiras.
According to many reports in the media, Endrick has had ‘several’ meetings with the Blues over a potential move to Stamford Bridge.
And Those report states that Real Madrid think they’re leading the race to sign the teenage sensation but the west Londoners join PSG in an open transfer pursuit.
It’s said that Endrick’s father Douglas is heavily involved in deciding his son’s future and he’s believed to be working with the agents of Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior
Now – according to Journalist Jorge Nicola – Chelsea are now the favourites to sign the gifted young man and bring him to Europe.
He said: “Talking to people here and there, I’ve the impression that Chelsea are the favourites to sign Endrick. Maybe not for the financial issue, but for the whole package.
“The idea is to make him the face of Chelsea from the moment he can move to Europe, when he turns 18.”
There has been so much speculation and rumours about the lad already and he has plenty of years left in the game – it is crazy the amount of hype he has been attracting already at this stage of his career.
He will surely develop into something special – but at the end of the day – there is no need to sign him right now.
It is a massive choice he has to make about where he ends up – but guys – he needs to make the right career choices or he could get lost in the system
