Erik Ten Hag has been tipped to secure Man United signing of £100M man
LIVERPOOL legend Robbie Fowler has tipped Man United to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane this summer transfer window.
Man United, who finished 14 points behind Premier League champions Man City last season, kick-start their 2023-24 campaign on August 14 against Wolves and are eager to get their transfer business done before then.
Kane is a man that is regarded as one of the best in the game – but his time at Tottenham is coming to an end as they simply cannot win trophies and give him what he desires.
The likes of Bayern Munich, Man United and Chelsea have been linked with a move – as it seems that the right offer to Daniel Levy will get a transfer deal done.
WHAT HAS FOWLER SAID –
The ex-England striker told the Daily Mirror.: ‘I simply don’t believe, either, they will have to limit their spending this summer, so a centre forward will arrive too, and I still wouldn’t rule out Harry Kane.
‘I believe he’ll stay in the Premier League, because he wants to smash the all-time scoring record.
‘But Spurs are absolutely miles away, so he’ll have to move, and United looks the most obvious destination.
‘Maybe all this talk of having no money to spend is aimed at keeping any Kane fee down, as he only has a year left on his contract.’
WOULD KANE CONSIDER A MOVE TO Man United –
Kane wants to join a side that is playing Champions League and winning trophies – and United can offer that more than what Tottenham can.
Obviously if he moves to Bayern he is guaranteed the League and couple of cups – but it seems he wants to stay in the Premier League.
We are sure that Kane is open to a move to Man United – but Levy wants to keep hold and if he cant – will look to sell abroad.
