Arsenal could raid Bayern Munich for Leroy Sane, according to reports in the media this weekend.

Sane has developed into one of the best attackers in the Bundesliga over the past few seasons after making the decision to Leave Man City for the Bundesliga, but there has been alot of speculation regarding his immediate future.

The German has been in contract talks with Bayern for quite some time now, but has failed to agree a new deal with the club, meaning that Bayern chiefs are ready to cash in one of their best players.

The likes of Man City, Liverpool and even Newcastle have been linked with a move for Sane over the past transfer window, but now the Spanish media have suggested ARSENAL are considering a swoop for the flying winger, who has just 12 months left on his contract.

There is a belief that the German international could be signed for a reduced fee because of that.

The fact that Sane has not agreed a new contract at Bayern will give all the chasing clubs a massive chance to get a deal done in the next few weeks, as Bayern will not want to lose the man on a free deal.

SAGNA EXCITED ABOUT CALAFIORI – 

Mikel Arteta’s potential acquisition of Ricardo Calafiori has been hailed by former Gunners defender Bacary Sagna.

ARSENAL have been in the headlines alot over the past few weeks – but despite all the rumours and speculation – David Raya is the only player to make the move to the Emirates after he completed his permanent move to London.

However – there has been alot of transfer speculation about the potential signing of Calafiori from Bologna – a player that is attracting all sorts of clubs after his impressive performances for the Italian side last season.

Calafiori made 33 appearances for Bologna last season as they qualified for the Champions League. He impressed for the Serie A side and took that form into Euro 2024, where he was excellent for Italy during the group phase. Luciano Spalletti missed him when he was suspended for the Round of 16 defeat against Switzerland.

The potential deal has hit a few snags – but amid all the speculation and rumours – Sagna has praised the Gunners chase for Calafiori – He told Paddy Power: “Riccardo Calafiori is very good – I’ve followed him a lot in Serie A this season.

“I’ve seen a lot of Bologna games, and he’s one of the reasons they were able to qualify for the Champions League.

“He’s calm and composed on the ball – he can break lines by committing and help the side out offensively.  He’d be a fantastic player for Arsenal – any club he would join, he would be a fantastic addition.”

NETO WANTS ARSENAL MOVE – 

Wolves star Pedro Neto wants to join Arsenal this summer, it has been claimed in the media this weekend.

Over the course of the last summer transfer window – ARSENAL done some of the best business in the Premier League and signed players that will make them serious contenders for that Premier League title.

The likes of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, David Raya and Jurrien Timber have all made their own impacts at the Emirates since the move over the summer, but Mikel Arteta wants to keep adding to his side in the coming transfer windows, which has led to reports Pedro Neto is wanted.

According to TeamTalk, Neto is keen to complete a move to the Emirates ahead of the coming season, and the Gunners have already held preliminary talks with the winger’s agent regarding a potential move to north London.

The same source adds that Arsenal are in “pole position” to sign the Portugal international, with Chelsea also keen.

Speaking to OLBG, former Wolves man Don Goodman recently claimed that Neto is ready for that big move – he said:“I think Pedro Neto could go to any of the big clubs – he’s that good. Wolves fans are resigned to the fact they will lose him, with respect to them.

“Neto is a top-level player and Wolves can’t lay claim to being one of those clubs right now. You have to grab the football opportunities with both hands and embrace the chances to develop your career and play at the highest level – and that means the Champions League. He’s that good.

“It’s promising to hear him talk about how much he loves the club, fans, and the area. He’s very settled and he’ll have to revisit that in the summer.

“Arsenal are the ones who are linked with him, but I’d be very surprised if most of the big teams aren’t keeping an eye on him. He’s been sensational.

“I used to commentate on Wolves games when Neto was at his peak, before his injury, and the thing that struck me was his intentions on the ball. He always wanted to beat players, create chances, and put crosses in.

“Players make safer choices with the ball these days as there’s a big onus on keeping it, rather than trying to hurt opponents with your quality. The flipside of that is that you might give the ball away. Neto’s decision-making, choices, and will to hurt opponents really struck me.

“Neto lost that when was recovering from his injury, but Gary O’Neil has given him a bit of love, and we’ve got the old Neto back. He’s sensational, and he belongs at the very top.”
