Fabregas sends big message Chelsea fans will agree with!

Cesc Fabregas has admitted that Chelsea aren’t ready to be competing for the title just yet.

Since the new board have come in – there has been alot of players signed by the club, alot of players sold by the club and three new managers, with Mauricio Pochettino the latest to try and get the club back to the top.

CHELSEA have once again been one of the most active sides in the summer transfer window, and have spent some serious money in order to finish higher than the 12th position they managed in the Premier League last season.

However – despite all the signings that have been made, and despite the fact that they have a world class coach, and despite the fact Pochettino is building a strong squad – they will still need some time before they can challenge for silverware.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –

Speaking to Sky Sports, Fabregas said: “I can see what they are trying to do.

“A young, dynamic, powerful team. The players they have signed are top quality. It is about putting them together and letting them grow.

“For example, Enzo Fernandez has had some time to adapt, and Moises Caicedo is a top player. He is strong and with quality, having been coached by a top manager like Roberto De Zerbi.

“Maybe not this year, but from next year they will be ready to compete.”

CHELSEA fans have been used to the club winning trophies, playing Champions League football and being one of the best sides in the game.

They are not used to average players getting signed and the club not in Europe – the squad that Chelsea have is very big, but how many stars could play for the other top teams in the Premier League.

It will be very difficult for Chelsea to even get into Europe this season, never mind challenge for the title.
