Fans convinced superstar will sign with Arsenal, will Gunners fans welcome Aguero deal? and Arteta told £100 million target can play in Premier League

Arteta issued Camavinga message, Fans convinced that Griezmann will sign with Arsenal, and will fans welcome Aguero deal in Arsenal roundup…

Arsenal fans are convinced that Antoine Griezmann will make the move to the Emirates after news broke that Barcelona are open to the idea of letting him leave.

Griezmann joined Barca from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2019, having established himself as one of the world’s best forwards while winning the World Cup with France.

After firing at least 20 goals in each of the last six seasons, Griezmann scored just 15 times in 48 games in his first season for Barca, a disappointing haul given the €120m (£107m/$134m) fee required to bring him to the club, and he has not faired any better this season.

He has largely been played out of position since joining Barca, and because of that fact, he has not looked like the player that dominated over at Madrid for so many years and became one of the very best players in world football.

According to El Confidencial, the club’s short-term debt stands at €730m and they need to lighten their salary burden before entering the market.

Four names have been identified for potential sales in the upcoming window, with Griezmann, Philippe Coutinho, Samuel Umtiti and Francisco Trincao believed to be on the chopping block.

And we have learned here at icfootballnews that Gunners fans are convinced that the Arsenal board will make a cheeky offer in the summer and bring Griezmann to the Premier League, and they also believe that he is open to that idea.

One of the best attacking players in world football and a man that has been linked with the Premier League alot over the past few seasons, yes he would be welcome at the London giants.

How could they turn down the opportunity to sign one of the best players in world football? Especially at a bargain price.

It is a shame that Griezmann has not excelled at Barca, but we would love him here in the Premier League, and he would certainly be that statement signing that Mikel Arteta would be looking to sign in the summer

The agent of Eduardo Camavinga has opened up and told the likes of Arsenal that the talented Frenchman has the ability to play in the Premier League.

The 18-year-old, who only turned 18 earlier this month, has already played 51 times for Rennes and earned three caps for France, scoring on his second appearance for his country.

His international debut against Croatia this year made him the youngest player to appear for France in over 100 years, demonstrating the huge strides he has made at such a young age.

And the fact that he has been impressing so much early in his career, has meant that the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, PSG and Real Madrid have all shown an interest in getting a potential transfer deal done in the coming windows.

“Camavinga can play next year in the Premier League. He is that good. Whether he will or not, I don’t know,” he said ON GOAL

“His background has been tough if you know what he went through as a refugee and the burning of his home [in Rennes]. But his character is amazingly strong. He is not your average 18-year-old. Playing in front of 100,000 people is not going to scare him. He’s a lovely boy and I think he’s going to be a superstar.

Camavinga is a brilliantly gifted player that can be a superstar in the game, but considering Arsenal already have a number of talented players at the club, surely they do not need to delve into that transfer kitty and add another one to the squad?

With the news that Alexandre Lacazette has put his house up for sale ahead of the summer transfer window, maybe Arsenal should make a move to try and sign Sergio Aguero in the summer window?

Lacazette has scored thirteen goals in all competitions for Arsenal this season, but many reports in the media believe that he is not part of the long-term plans at the Emirates under Mikel Arteta.

Atletico tried to bring the France striker to Spain before he joined the Gunners for £46.5million from Lyon in 2017 and tried again in the summer window, but the Arsenal board were reluctant to sell as they did not have the funds to sign an immediate replacement.

The latest news suggested that Lacazette has put his house up for sale and moved into a rental until the end of the season, as reports suggest he has not fully decided on the next club he would like to join, but Icfootballnews has learned that the Gunners will be looking to sign a striker in the summer window.

Aguero’s future has been the subject of intense speculation in recent months, with the 32-year-old set to become a free agent when his contract at the Etihad Stadium expires at the end of June.

It is not clear why he will not get a new contract at the Etihad, but the fact that Arteta has a close relationship with the player during his stay in Manchester, there is a real chance to get him signed up.

Many will believe that we are crazy and Aguero would not be a good signing, but considering the Gunners need to generate some funds, they would save a ton by giving Aguero a contract until the end of the season.

And when they get back into that Champions League, they can go more a more long-term solution right?

Fans would have loved him like three or four years ago.

No, we don’t want the half fit Aguero and the wages he would demand.
