Fans told £62k-a-week Liverpool target “100 per cent gone’ after transfer decision made
Gabby Agbonlahor has insisted Liverpool target Declan Rice is “100% gone” in the summer despite David Moyes plan to keep him at West Ham
Over the past few seasons Declan Rice has developed into one of the best players at the club – and one of the most impressive midfielders that the Premier League has to offer.
He really is the leader at the Hammers and a man that they are hoping to keep at the club for as long as they are possibly too – but that has not stopped speculation regarding his long-term future at the club
Liverpool are continuing to be linked with a move for the England International – and it is believed that Rice has already made up his mind about leaving the Hammers after rejecting the clubs massive contract offer
Now – amid all the speculation – Agbonlahor has opened up and claimed that Rice will 100 per cent be gone in the summer transfer window – Agbonlahor told Football Insider: “I think he’s 100% gone in the summer.
“Now it just becomes about getting the best deal for the club.
“I just don’t see him staying any longer. Sometimes players outgrow a football club, and it’s pretty clear that Rice has bigger aspirations than what West Ham are capable of.”
The Hammers fans love Rice – he is one of the best players in the Premier League – but would they really be upset if he decided that now is the right time to leave the club and look for Champions League football?
There will be some big offers – there will be a lot of money exchanged – let’s see what happens
