Fans told Arsenal will sign £100M man – £30M star tipped for move – £80M attacker tells board he wants Arsenal deal done
Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news and gossip from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed –
Former ARSENAL striker Eduardo da Silva believes the Gunners could walk away from a deal to sign West Ham star Declan Rice
Over the past few seasons – Rice has developed into one of the best holding midfielders in the Premier League and a man that is heavily tipped to join one of the big clubs at the end of the season.
Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been linked – but so have Arsenal after their stunning season in which fans will see the club regain Champions League football and possible a League title.
According to recent reports on The Times, Arsenal have identified as Rice as their top target ahead of the transfer window reopening for business in the coming months.
Now – Former Arsenal striker Eduardo believes Arsenal could end up walking away from a deal to try and sign the Englishman.
‘I think Arsenal will never break the bank for a player that they do not think is worth it,’ he told Betway.
‘For example, for Mykhailo Mudryk, Arsenal submitted an £80m bid for him, but Chelsea bid £100m. Clearly, Arsenal did not think the price tag was worth it.
‘However, if they were going to spend £100m on Declan Rice, that must mean the club thinks that he is worthy of that value.’

There has been so much speculation and so many rumours surrounding the future of Declan Rice that nobody actually knows where he will end up. But if ARSENAL do manage to sign the player – he will most certainly improve the squad.
However – the style of player of Arteta – the quality that the club already have in the side – it is much more likely that the Spaniard improves that back-line and attack before he splashes £80 million on another holding midfielder.
Tierney tipped for move –
Former Scottish footballer Frank McAvennie insists Kieran Tierney is the best left-back in the Premier League and backs him to leave ARSENAL.
However – a number of injuries have limited his time on the pitch and after the Gunners signed Oleksander Zinchenko – he has really struggled to get in the side this season.
That has led to all sorts of speculation in the media that he is one player that the Arsenal would be open to letting go at the end of the season – with the likes of Newcastle and West Ham linked with a move
Now – amid all the speculation McAvennie has backed the left-back to leave Arsenal – He tells Football Insider:
“Real Madrid were looking at Tierney. I think he is the best left-back in the Premier League, I think he is different class.
“Arsenal are not playing him at left-back because they are playing Zinchenko instead but he is not as defensively-minded as Tierney.
“Tierney is not bad at going forward but he is not getting involved in midfield like Zinchenko does and that is what the manager wants.
“Going to Newcastle would be a great piece of business, I think he would definitely strengthen the defence. They have got the money to go and spend and get Tierney.”

It has been a shame to see that such a talented player has been plagued by injuries at the top level, but that is because he has been giving so much for ARSENAL
However – now may be the best time to leave the club as his game time will become even more limited – so a switch to a club like WEST HAM or Newcastle could be a very good decision to make.
But he is a fighter and there is still a chance that he could stay at the club and fight for his place in the side.
Pepe eyes Nice stay –
ARSENAL winger Nicolas Pepe is open to staying at Nice for another season, according to reports in France.
After making a real name for himself in the French Ligue 1 – the Arsenal board made the massive decision to splash £80 million to bring Pepe to the Premier League.
Pepe scored 27 goals in 112 appearances in his three seasons at Arsenal but struggled to make an impact in his final campaign under Mikel Arteta. The Ivory Coast international was allowed to leave Arsenal last summer as he joined Nice on loan for the full season.
Pepe has enjoyed a decent season with the French giants – but has been plagued by injuries over the past few months which has himdered his game time in Ligue 1 – and his ability to score the goals he was at the beginning of the season.

Nice do not have an option to buy Pepe at the end of the season and according to L’Equipe, the Ligue 1 side have not made a final decision as to whether they want to keep the winger for another year.
But the report claims that Pepe is open to the idea of remaining at Nice and has told the board that he would like to stay.

If Pepe went back to ARSENAL at the end of the season – he would find himself sitting on the bench and watching his career pass him by. He needs that move away from the club.
If Nice can get a good deal for the man then the best thing would be for him to stay put – there is no point re-joining Mikel Arteta’s squad as he is a player that no longer has a future at the Emirates.
