Fans told Chelsea set to open talks with Champions League winning midfielder, Arsenal urged to sign £80m attacker and Man United optimistic after opening £77 million transfer talks in news of the day
Man United in Jadon Sancho talks, Chelsea to open talks with Kante and Arsenal urged to complete £80 million deal in news of the day….
Emmanuel Petit has urged Arsenal to try and sign Wilfred Zaha during the summer transfer window.
Despite all the rumours, despite all the speculation and despite the talk that Zaha was keen on a move to the Emirates, the Arsenal board made the strange decision to break the club record and bring Nicolas Pepe to the Premier League after one good season in France.
Zaha has gone on to re-establish himself in the Premier League, while Pepe has failed to impress many at the Arsenal, but there is more speculation in the media that the Gunners are still interested in a deal
‘Zaha has been repeatedly linked with Arsenal in recent years. Arsenal used to play with wingers and guys who could make a difference on the flank, who would take responsibility and show the hunger and desire to get the victory – that was the Arsenal that I knew!’ Petit told the Metro
‘When I played for Arsenal in the late 1990s we had Marc Overmars, Sylvain Wiltord and Robert Pires – these players were so exciting to watch.
‘Zaha is an unpredictable player, you don’t know what he’s going to do with the ball. He’s got a strong character, and sometimes he needs to control of his emotions, but he’s exactly the kind of player Arsenal need. He’d get the fans excited and stimulate his own team-mates too.
‘For ages, Arsenal haven’t had a player who could dribble or make a difference with the ball at his feet. With Zaha, they would have somebody capable of taking responsibility and not scared to take on defenders.’
Look, we are massive fans of Zaha and firmly believe that he should be playing at one of the big clubs in the Premier League, so if the Gunners are willing to pay that big money, he would be a great signing for the club.
Manchester United remain in talks to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, reports have again claimed
Sancho is one of the very best wingers win world football and has been heavily tipped to become one of the top five players in world football, especially if he makes the right decisions in the game.
United have been linked with a move for Sancho for more than 2 years now, and there was alot of speculation in the media that they were keen to get a deal done last summer, but they couldnt agree a fee with Dortmund.
However, reports in Germany reckon the Bundesliga side have dropped their demands and an accepted bid will open the door for negotiations to be completed, and the player’s representatives are ‘expecting’ a £77million transfer to get over the line this summer
Now Sky Sports claim Man United are ‘cautiously optimistic’ of bringing Sancho to Old Trafford this summer.
Sancho scored 16 goals and registered 14 assists in an impressive 2020/21 campaign and he would be seen as a real statement signing by the club.
The Sancho to United rumours have been around for a very long time, and until the deal is actually done, there will always be rumours. So until the day that he arrives in Manchester and signs that contract, we will not be trusting any story about the man.
United fans would love the player and he would be a great signing, but lets see what happens in the coming months, as there will be alot more rumours.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea will also begin talks over extending N’Golo Kante’s deal in the coming weeks.
Right now many of the Chelsea players are still enjoying the fact that they beat Manchester City in that Champions League final and once again became Champions of Europe.
Kante has been a player that struggled to really make an impact under the guidance of Frank Lampard at the start of the season, and there was even talk that the club were ready to sell in the January window, or at the end of the season.
The likes of PSG and Barcelona were reportedly very interested in the player, but under the guidance of Thomas Tuchel, Kante has once again flourished and proven that he deserves to be at the club next season.
His current deal ends at the end of 2023, but According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea will open talks with the Frenchman in order to make sure that his current deal is extended at the club.
It has been claimed that Chelsea will look to hand Kante a two-year deal, although it has also been claimed that he would want more than that.
There is no doubt that Kante is one of the very best holding midfielders in the game and there are not too many clubs out there that wouldnt want him in the squad, so the news that Chelsea are all set to open talks to try and get a deal done is very great news for the club.
It would be a massive loss if he left the club.
