Boehly meets Ronaldo agent – Tuchel speaks with Sterling – Feliz addresses rumours in Chelsea news of the day –

New Chelsea owner Todd Boehly reportedly met with Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes about a possible summer deal – but Man United have responded to those reports

The Man United star’s future is far from undecided with the player being linked with a move away from Old Trafford – with suggestions that he is not happy with the transfer dealings of the club

Despite hitting 24 goals across all competitions last season, Ronaldo was unable to drag United to a top-four finish and add another trophy to the cabinet – and at this stage of his career – he does not want to be part of a project

And according to The Athletic, Ronaldo’s future was discussed when Chelsea owner Boehly met Mendes in Portugal last week – with the New Chelsea owner looking to make a couple of statement signings

But the Mirror claim United have vetoed any possible exit for Ronaldo – and have told the player that he will not be allowed to depart the club this summer transfer window

The publication claim a source told them: “Cristiano is not for sale. We want – and fully expect – him to be with us next season.”

Ronaldo is a superstar and not many players in the Premier League can be happy with the amount of goals that they scored last season – he can

He was playing in a side that was lacking real quality – yet he managed 24 goals for the Red Devils

So it is easy to see why Chelsea are very much interested – but unless Man United sign an adequate replacement – we cannot see him departing the club just yet

However – if he feels that a move away from the club is what he needs – he will not hesitate to leave – especially as he wants more titles

Tuchel meets Sterling –

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has made contact with Raheem Sterling ahead of lodging a £60million bid, according to reports.

Sterling is a player that has won countless trophies during his time with Man City – has scored 131 goals for the Premier League Champions and is easily one of the best players in the English game

However – as Pep Guardiola looks to shake things up for next season – there are a number of players that the Spaniard is willing to let leave this summer – and Sterling is one of them

That has led to constant speculation in the media that Chelsea may be looking to try and secure a deal for Sterling – as they seek to add some more goals to an attack that struggled last season.

Sterling, 27, has just one year remaining on his City contract, and Chelsea believe they may be able to convince him to leave the Etihad.

According to the Telegraph, Tuchel has opened dialogue with Sterling’s camp ahead of a potential bid – with reports claiming Sterling is open to all options — but wants to play regularly in the countdown to the winter World Cup.

Sterling brings pace – skill and goals to an attack – and that is what Chelsea are lacking right now

They have a number of exciting players at the club – but if they want to close the gap on Man City and Liverpool – then they need to start signing the best players when they come onto the market

So if they do manage to sign Sterling and do manage to get him back into the habit of scoring goals – then they will have a very fearsome player on their hands that other teams would get worried about

Chelsea are a massive club that always challenge for trophies – but getting past Liverpool and Man City for all those titles will be a massive ask

Felix addresses rumours –

Atletico Madrid star Joao Felix insists that he is committed to his La Liga club despite the rumours linking him with a move to Chelsea

Felix came through the ranks at Benfica as a teenager and earned a move to Atletico in 2019 after smashing 20 goals in 43 games during his debut season with the Portuguese giants – numbers that alerted all the big clubs in world football

But although he has not produced those kind of numbers at Atletico – he has become a big part of the Spanish side and Felix’s talents have also seen him break into the Portugal team, where he has scored three times in 22 appearances.

There has been many rumours in the media that the likes of Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool are all ready to delve into that transfer kitty and try to secure a transfer deal for the talented attacker

But amid all the speculation – Felix has admitted that he wants to stay with Diego Simeone at the Wanda Metropolitano and affirms that a departure this summer is not an option.

“An exit from Atletico is not on the table,” the 22-year-old explained to reporters from his native Portugal.

“I am calm about my future, and aware of what I can do, I feel good about myself.

“I am still on holiday, I have just started training to prepare pre-season but I’m not thinking about football too much.”

The lad is very talented and certainly a player that has the potential to become one of the best in world football – so it is easy to see why Chelsea are keen

But right now – he does not need to leave the club – he is happy – he is playing on a regular basis for one of the biggest clubs in world football – it is the correct decision to stay put

Chelsea may keep an eye and possibly make a move in the next few windows
