£240k-a-week star ‘Will fit in at Arsenal’ ahead of possible move – Edu told
Arsenal target Joao Felix is a ‘really interesting profile of player’ for Mikel Arteta’s side,
Joao Felix was signed by Madrid as the player that they believed would replace Antoine Griezmann when he left for Barcelona just a few seasons ago.
There has been alot of hype about the talents of the young man – and it is also widely expected that he becomes the future of Portugal – especially as Cristiano Ronaldo is right at the very end of his international career.
However – the move to spain has not quite worked out for the lad and he has been unable to hit the heights that many had hoped for – and also failed to score the goals that the club paid for
But at the World Cup he has looked massively impressive and looks very much the player that could become one of the best – which has led to suggestions that Arsenal could try and get a deal done for the man.
And speaking to icFootballnews – Reporter Iomie Stanley has claimed that Felix would fit in well at the Emirates – he said: “I think Joao Felix is the type of flexible player that could help fill the void of Gabriel Jesus
“Would Atleti really let him go on a loan? I doubt it; this is a player they’ve invested in heavily, but if the right offer was made then they would allow him to leave on a more permanen basis
“He has obvious frustrations around playing time, and would seek the right move – and if Madrid allowed him to leave – he would fit in at the Emirates
